If that looks like 2 bags of Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, an Ice Cream Scoop, Caramel Corn, and Margarita Flavored Jelly Belly's, that's because IT IS.

Gotta love Grandma's care packages!

    Grandma's are good like that. Mine used to keep a Pepperidge Farm Coconut Cake in the freezer when i used to visit her. Boy do i miss that........ :frown:

    She's the woman! I wish she lived closer so I could hug her every day (though being in a close proximity to her kitchen would not be good to my waistline!)! :happy:

    My grandma is the same way. Every time I visit her she tries to fatten me up while congratulating me on my weight loss! :noway:

    My grandma wouldn't have sent me anything worth selling. The only thing she gave people were lectures.

    can you have a cookie sale with some side options? LOL. Grandma loves you!!! That is the type of care package I would have wanted when I as younger!

    and I agree with OP. My Grandma was a dental assistant. We got floss. Not only that but worse was if we showed up with candy or pop she would eat or drink it. Without asking or being offered. I think she did backpack searchese the moment we walked into her door. Then when it was gone in her belly she offered us an apple.

    It's true! Mine always knows everyone's favorite food and has it readily available in her fridge/pantry/etc. Our visits go something like this:

    Me: Hi Grandma!
    Grandma: Are you hungry? I have (current favorite food)!
    Me: No, grandma, thanks. I just came from a huge lunch and I'm stuffed
    Grandma: * Goes to fridge, pulls out favorite food, and places it on the table *
    Me: Grandma, I said I wasn't hungry
    Grandma: I didn't say you had to eat it
    Me: * Grumbles and refuses for a few moments, then gives in *
