  • Awesome! I used to love 30DS myself but I always alternated it with other videos and workouts I've never done it all the way through the way it was meant to be done. Monday I'm going out of town but I may try to get up extra early to get the 30 min in!
  • This may not seem like a desert but it's fulfilling my sweetness needs lately... Cut a banana into one inch rounds, top with organic almond butter, drizzle with honey and sprinkle apple pie spice on top! It's easy, clean food and delicious!
  • Cottage cheese is a great source of protein
  • I eat between 1350-1650 and I meal plan before the week! Calories change dependent on my healthy snacks and exercise. Feel free to add me!
  • I've learned over the years that mindful eating is the way to conquer control over food once and for all (for those of us who need it) and I love how you've structured your goals. Kudos to taking a realistic challenging approach to treating your body the way we're meant to. I always say you should do what's right, not…

  • LOVE this DVD! It's still my go to when I want to tone up. It will help a person lose weight just from the sheer fact that you are up and moving so it's creating a calorie deficit, but it's definitely a fantastic DVD for someone who wants to lose inches and firm up! The best part is how fast it goes by. I totally recommend…
  • Agreed! Someone came to work with them tonight and it took every ounce of me not to indulge. ;)
  • Fantastic loss! It's always awesome to see someone's transformation, but especially if your stats are so similar! I went from my highest of 193 down to 161 and still on the road to being fit! You're definitely an inspiration - great job girl! :)
  • You're a fan of dressing up in fun glasses :)
  • Awesome hair and clearly great fashion sense! :)
  • Thank you everyone! I will definitely take a lot of what you said in consideration. I just think it's so frustrating to have this probably consistently every few years and the feeling like I don't have very much control over it. Support is awesome though regardless of how long I may be in pain or having down time - so…
  • Everyone looks A-MAZING! Such an inspiration and it goes to show that eating right and exercising pays off in all shapes and sizes. Well done all! :)
  • I would say to write down how your feeling before you mindless eat. Force yourself to confront the reasons you're stress eating so you can break the habit. Also, try to have apples and bananas on hand. Have one of those or drink some water before you dive into an unhealthy snack. I would be surprised if you would still…
  • I'm always looking for snack options and this is perfect! Thanks for sharing! :)
  • I use an HRM and I love it! It's called the ePulse2 Strapless Heart Rate Monitor/Calorie Counter http://www.amazon.com/Impact-Sports-Technologies-ePulse2-Personal/dp/B004BHBGCY It was recommended to me by another MFP on here and I had previously done my OWN research and knew that the most accurate ones have chest straps…

  • Day 3 was great! Although for me, I have done this video (especially level 1) quite a few times, just not all the way through the 30 days just off an on. So, I think my muscles are used to the exercises, but I did notice tonight my muscles were thinking "Um, we've done this the past few days... can we have a break?" And I…

  • I went through so many different ones, but these ----> http://www.amazon.com/Philips-SHQ3000-28-Earhook-Headphones/dp/B004477D0A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327035049&sr=8-1 are wonderful and I couldn't (scratch that... would really really not enjoy) doing any kind of workout without them! :)
  • A few options I enjoy: 100 calorie popcorn (butter or kettle!) <- it is a REALLY nice sized portion and it's a fun movie snack w/o the overload of calories Carrots w/ hummus <- great healthy snack and the creaminess of the hummus it makes you feel satisfied Nut-thins or mary's gone crackers w/ tzatziki yogurt style <- very…
  • Everyone really has hit the nail on the head - saying the same things in different words. Unfortunately, no matter how much you say you understand, until that day comes when you don't just say "enough is enough" but you put the words to action and mean it (in your heart and mind) it's not going to happen. True weight loss…
  • I would love to join! I've done 30DS on and off for awhile now and I love it. I have never consistently done the workout though so I think it would be great to be apart of a group!
  • It really can get very difficult when you're sick to stay on track, but it's more so a problem AFTER you're sick and you're on your way to being healthy. During your cold/flu- listen to your body. It clearly needs rest, liquids, and healthy nutrition. Stay true to a colorful, nutrition conscious diet, take vitamins, and…
  • My HRM says Level 1 is somewhere between 175-250 calories depending on how hard I'm pushing myself. Hope that helps! :)
  • Thanks all! I got a feeling from the book that made me think it's difficult to be applicable. I did however think his writing style could be very persuasive to someone just starting their weight loss journey. For me though, it really was just interesting skim through and see a different perspective on how to lose weight,…

  • Fan-freakin'-tastic ladies! Jennelle, Emily, and Faith you all are rockin' it out! Sad to report - I haven't been MIA it's just my numbers for the past two weeks have been too pitiful to post. 52 in Week 4 and 100 in Week 5. <- (that's me admitting my humanness to not always push my hardest) But... I'm in this! My main…
  • Too awesome of a thread not to bump! :)
  • I was mentally flipping through my MFP memory bank and it is just too hard to pick one! <- (Sounds like the cheese-ball answer, but it's true!) In one way or another each and every one of my friends on here have been a burst of motivation, plethora of quality knowledge and most of all inspirational in their own way.
  • Firstly, being unmotivated and disappointed is completely and most definitely normal. (So you can take a nice deep breath and remind yourself that even the most fit/healthy people can feel that way too) <- a.k.a. you're not alone. Knowing you have support and like-minded people around you can sometimes be half the battle.…
