  • Ohhh sugar. Yeah, my sodium is always well under and my sugar intake is way over. Right now I'm SUPPOSED to be consuming 40 grams of sugar. Most days it ends up about 70-80. That's due to greek yogurt, protein bars (I know of a few that have less sugar, but have not made an order for more and they're all expensive!) and…
  • Thank you everyone-- I completely forgot about avocados. It's scary to think I'll be eating more to lose weight, but I might as well give it a shot. Seriously thanks so much for your tips! I eat a lot of greek yogurt but always the 0% stuff. SO EXCITED for the 2% ones-- way more flavour options!
  • I don't often come to the MFP forum because it can get fairly negative. I'm really thankful for everyone who answered my question and gave advice. I feel quite ready to start a summer routine based around eating more. Please feel welcome! As well, check out reddit.com/r/loseit -- there are so many supportive fitness…
  • This sounds like a good plan. I'm tossing around the idea of doing the TDEE-20% (which would give me 1600 cals per day, OMG FOOD!) orrrr trying to eat back most of my burnt calories. With TDEE, it means I would be eating this amount of calories every day, regardless of exercise, correct? Like, maybe one day I'll burn 400…
  • This is why I have been looking for a good heart rate monitor. As I'm closing in on my goal (and summer) I really want to go all-out with my fitness/food. I would like to be accurate and do the very best by my body.
  • Any suggestions on a heart rate monitor brand? I'd love to get one that is super accurate!
  • In response to all of this: I'm taking nutritional advice from my trainer because he's also a nutritionist. He also has had so many clients lose weight successfully so naturally, I want to follow his lead. A few years ago I was following MFP as I should (eating back the cals) but not for long enough to see any major…
  • When I started out, I was burning 400-600 calories per workout. My workouts always vary, as I'm basically only exercising with my trainer. Good luck! Sounds like it's working for you if you've already lost thirty pounds!
  • Yes. Emotionally and breastfully.
  • Okay. That makes sense. The bands (probably because i have tiny ribs) always lift up a bit, then then I move they move and often my nipples escape from the bra (or as my boyfriend calls it, the protective layer). Where should the band sit on my back? I heard once that it's supposed to sit lower than your bust, like lower…
  • This post is going on this board because I believe it falls under the category "support"... How exactly should bras fit? About two years ago I went to a big city fancy boutique and they sized me to tell me I was a 30C. In other words, no ribs average boobs. Now, living in a small town where the only bra store is La Senza,…
  • I'm no doctor, but I would suggest starting with speed walking. It looks ridiculous, but one needs to take baby steps. After a while, you'll be able to go for longer and faster. Then start jogging. Same thing. Ease into running. Starting out of nowhere will only frustrate you. I don't think weight would be an issue, you…
  • Wow. Thank you all so much for replying. I feel more comfortable with my body already! They are just the bane of my existance. Once I reach my goal weight, providing they shrink, I will take pictures of them and post them for the world to see!!! ...Tastefully.
  • Did the doctors have yours looking normal? I am afraid if I ever do it they will be lopsided. :blushing:
  • I really love the way mine are shaped, so i don't want to get a reduction. But if they don't shrink, I will.
  • Hourglass shape. And they were slightly smaller before I gained a bit of weight. I just want them gone so badly.
  • Please. Someone tell me, if I am losing weight will I absolutely lose my breasts? Be brutally honest. Is there a guarantee they will shrink?
  • My boyfriend is 6'2 and a very lanky dude. He is the epitome of bean pole stature. The other morning, at my house, he was in the bathroom while I stepped on the scale. It read 145. Then I told him to see how much he weighed. So he stepped on the scale. It read 145. I am 5'4. I HATE HIM SO MUCH RIGHT NOW HE IS HUGE AND I AM…
  • I'm going to bump this because I also want some easy recipes while I'm stuck in my art classes at college.
  • Anyone with a blood type O (very very common) will do much better with less carbs. And people only gain weight by eating carbs and not using it as energy (like by eating a bagel and then taking a nap).
  • I just constantly think of myself being skinny. It works!
  • Yeah. So far I've been doing okay with the 1350, sometimes I've gone a bit over (like 100 - 200 calories more) because of not exercising at all. The only reason I set my goal to that much a week is because of needing to shed at least 5 lbs by december 10th for ballet. Do you think it would be fine to keep this goal until…

  • hey you little fruit cup. welcome to this place. I am so hungry. :)
  • I'm 5'3. 5'4 on a good day!
  • That's what I was leaning towards. Thanks!
  • Hello!, My name is Annie, I'm 18 from Canada. My body holds weight very strangely. I've always been muscular naturally, so I've always been heavier than most people. Right now, I am considered to be "overweight" by the BMI chart, even though I only wear a size 5/6. I weigh 150 lbs. This has always annoyed me, it just seems…
  • I work two jobs in sales where I am in movement quite often. I do get tired and a little sweaty, and my feet hurt when I'm done! My question is, when I first signed up I registered as a very active person-- so does this mean I shouldn't add my work into my exercise tracker? Or can I still record this as being…
