Way More Sugar than I Knew - What to eat w/ less sugar?

since tracking here - (3 days) I see my sugar intake is shot before dinner - in fact, I'm over limit already! I don't like eggs or meat or dairy particularly... will have to find other things to eat besides the starchy stuff I guess??
On a good note...I take in very little sodium and am doing fairly well at calorie limit....but I am hungry about 1/3 of the time.
Ideas or your favorites for low sugar ?

Ohhh sugar.
Yeah, my sodium is always well under and my sugar intake is way over. Right now I'm SUPPOSED to be consuming 40 grams of sugar. Most days it ends up about 70-80. That's due to greek yogurt, protein bars (I know of a few that have less sugar, but have not made an order for more and they're all expensive!) and fruit. It's so easy to go over your total grams of sugar.
A lot of people have mentioned before that it's okay to go over, and from the sounds of it many people do. I try really hard to have my carbs/fat/protein where they should be...those are my top priority.
One way to cut back on sugar is to read labels carefully. A lot of "fat free" foods have more sugar than their "fat full" counterpart. This is because fat helps make food taste good, and when you take out the fat, you need to add something to bring the flavour back. Or so I've been told.0 -

If you are hungry most of the time, then what you are doing is not working. You should work to find what works for you in terms of balancing your hunger, cravings, and energy levels. Certain fruits that are lower in sugar and higher in fiber are Blackberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Apples, Pears, and Grapefruit. Go with non starchy veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, etc.. Nuts and seeds may work well for you also.0
