^^^This. I really think that we take political correctness too far sometimes.

Nothing. I'm a firm believer you don't need supplements if you have a (mostly) healthy lifestyle.

I get stir fry chicken (Chines take-out) or a plate of sushi! :) Or I share a simple hamburger, a small fries and a side salad with my son.

It's in my profile... I run because the Doctor might pick me as his next companion! Plus I want to be able to run if my life depended on it!

If you can get your hands on ground quorn (I think you can in UK), it's a pretty decent substitute for ground beef. I usually sub one half of the ground beef for quorn in lasagnas, spaghetti sauce, chili, soups... That way you keep the taste but save some calories. I agree with you on low fat cream. Although now, I prefer…

Greek yogurt with some fruit mixed in. But If I'm hungry, i don't freak out about going 50 or 100 cals over! Better that than a fridge raid later that night because I'm starving!

^^^This. I used to be a compulsive "subber". Low fat for full fat, milk for cream, applesauce for oil, splenda for sugar... Well, it's not as good as the real thing! Now I try to cook healthy meals with fresh ingredients the majority of the time (fish with veggies, chicken with tomato-based sauce, hearthy soups...). And…

Why one sister/brother is heavy while another is not: one is eating more or is less active Changing metabolisms over time (age, motherhood - sorry…

I get a very satisfying feeling of achievement when I empty a bottle of shampoo or a toothpaste tube!

If you don't like eating, try calorie-dense foods like nuts, nuts butter and avocado slices!

I'm pretty sure you can alternate with cardio days and still get good results! I did it for 30 days and in the end, I could have sporked my eyes out because I was so bored with the work-out. I'd suggest rotating different DVDs if you've got the same attention span as me!

skinnytaste.com :-) (I usually bring the computer in the kitchen so I don't have to print anything!) Paper cookbook would be Vegan with a vengeance. I'm not even vegan but I've cooked more reciped from this book than from any other!

Well, if you do sit-ups the whole day, you don't have much time to eat so I guess he's kind of right!

Mine believe you can lose weight by working out only.

Some great ideas guys, thanks! (except feeding the pidgeons, for which you get a 75€ fine where I live!)

It's a beautiful dress! I'd wear it with a short blazer or jacket (black). I'd just take it off if I see other spaghetti strap dresses at the event. :)

It's normal. You burn more energy so your body asks for more! It's a good thing actually!

What BerryH said + feeling like a bad *kitten* because you venture into the free weight section of the gym. :D

Lifting weights (while eating a decent amount of protein) will help preserve lean mass.
