  • M arking my spot for the weighin tomorrow on this thread...
  • So is the "code" word going to be posted on this forum for tomorrow's weigh in??
  • Thats a bit hmmm....not nice (loading/drinking for the weighin) I did not even know I was joining until the last day and then was told no anyway, so definitely did not inflate my number, but ... such as it is...
  • Nice Shell... I had to go convert that to lbs! LOL.... nice loss for the week!!
  • Naomi, its hard to get in the habit of healthy eating and exercising, but once you do, you will be in the groove and feel so much better.... keep a mantra in your head... I AM WORTH IT, I CAN DO IT, I AM STRONGER THAN THIS, I WANT THIS, I WILL DO THIS, I AM WORTH THIS... Say it enough, (and drink a big glass of water to…
  • I have been there. When I was 240 lbs, I could hardly not do anything anymore without tons of pain and soreness, but as I lost weight, I was able to do more and get faster and run for hours instead of seconds, and my joints in my knees and hips could take it more.... have faith, you will get there! Just push yourself as…
  • Well Yellow team, I burned like 800 calories today with my chalean extreme weights and my hour long turbo kickboxing class... that should give a little more leeway!!
  • I worked my butt off today!! I did 35 minutes this morning of a new Chalean EXtreme weight training program and then an hour turbo kickboxing class tonight, burned about 800 calories or more today!! We can do it team!!
  • Literally, you just have to do it. Do you ever think when you see someone running outside, geesh, I wish they would go home? or .. do you think, way to go! Good for you?? I am the latter, I think good for you... at least your exercising, no matter what they weight, old, young, skinny... I am pretty sure 99% of the people…
  • I agree, thanks for the organizing!! Lets go Yellow team.. I am starting a new Chalean Extreme today to go with my running, turbo kickboxing and Tae-Bo!!! Lets burn it with calories ladies!
  • Thank you all for the welcome! Good job on the nonsmoking ladies! We rock!! I dont even miss it... My weight in KG is like 72.12?? Means not too much to me!! LOL
  • My advice would be do different exercises to confuse your body, and also calorie zig zagging works best for me with plateaus. Make a drastic difference for like a week, 800 to 1400 or 700 to 1600 etc so that your body is not sure what you are doing, and maybe it will start up again... I dont buy the muscle weighs more crap…

  • Great transformation. YOu look amazing already. Might need some windex on that mirror though!! LOL
  • Go Team Yellow!!!
  • Good morning ladies... Looks like I am your replacement :-)... My name is Cathy. I am 40 years old and I have 3 children. I live in Colorado. Sounds like we have quite a few Aussies in the group, nice! My husband is English. A little about my weight... I was never "skinny" but with each pregnancy, put on more weight, and…
  • Can I still join too?? When is the date for posting weight then if so? Tomorrow saturday morning? SW: 159.0 this morning.
  • I completely understand. My measurements did not change either, and I worked out hard all the time... it was very frustrating, and everyone said...either ... eat more....or .... eat less... nothing worked. Exericse less, exercise more.. Its not as simple as calories in, calories out...although they like to lead you that…
  • Great job!! Before you know it, you will have a new one to replace this one!! Keep up the good work!
  • I am a daily weigher.. I think its personal preference really.
  • Thought I would pop in with a suggestion that worked for me. I went on a 9 month plateau, horrible. I exercised 6 days a week, would eat more for a while, tried eating less, nothing! Then I tried calorie cycling and it broke the plateau. Its not fast weight loss, but it confused my body enough that the metabolism kicked in…
  • Here is my weight, let me know if this is all I need to do..
  • I found the best thing to do is go walk or exercise or do something with my hands. Watching tv always makes it worse. Or, I save 20 calories or so and have a couple sugar free jello cups if I am going beserk wanting to eat. But mostly, busyness. Maybe a bath??
  • Quite an accomplishment, bravo, great job!! Keep up the outstanding work!!
  • I am a sculptor, and own an online retail supply store.
  • In my opinion, the best you can do is treadmill and HIIT training, intervals. It requires more of your body and burning to start and stop than just to continue... but this would go with either machine as well. I have been a running junky and just recently realized that I need to switch it up more, as my body is so used to…
  • I personally think weighing everyday is fine, but usually only in the morning, "empty" and then not again. I think it can help us to eat right that day, and if you are "watching" it, you are more likely to make good choices. But having said that, I think its important to remember that you can fluctuate for no reason... and…
  • I agree with the calorie cycling like someone mentioned above, you might check out the JUDDD diet on line (google it) and also, maybe less prepared and iced coffee type of things, and keep your "drink" calories out, just use water or coffee black, and try to add in nice veges and meats... Might help a bit. And I agree…
  • I have to pop in here too, as I started running when I was morbidly obese, and almost 40! I am now 40 and still overweight, and I run every day!! I think you have to listen to your body though if you have issues with joints or pain, you might need to scale down until your body can handle it, but I lost over 80 pounds with…
  • I usually take one day off, but still walk about 30 minutes just to feel like I did something, but I dont do "hard cardio" or even hardly break a sweat on those days. I am also obsessive though, but I do think 1 day off a week at least is good, some do 2 days off... I just cant do that one... :ohwell:
