I have worn the body media for years now and just love it. I have the heart rate monitor with strap too, but I found it very uncomfortable and I wear the body media 24 hours a day (less showers etc) Totally recommend it!

I quit 5 years ago, but I used Chantix and it worked like a dream. I was a chain smoker, 3 packs a day for 20+ years and just quit with Chantix and have never looked back yet! Good luck!

For me, if I add any of it back in, it makes me crave it all that much more, and I usually have to have it all, in one day. So I try not to eat it as it will definitely trigger the bingeing. But some people can do it in moderation, I am just not one of them :(

Thanks for the welcome! I ate bad the day before I started, and I was retaining water, so in the attack, I lost like 5 lbs.. *water weight of course* and since then, I am about 6 days in cruise and down about 2 lbs more I think... had one small slip up day on Sunday with my sons birthday, so hopefully will see better…

I am newly on the Dukan Diet too... Just went and joined that other group that was suggested too! Would love to hear what others eat... I tend to migrate to the yogurt/cottage because i am not a huge meat eater...

Hey everyone, I am new to the Dukan diet, but giving it a go. I am in the cruise phase, day 5 I think... but derailed yesterday a bit, and back on track today. I think I am doing the 1/1.... I find I really miss my fruits though, and get sick of meat... so I do alot of greek yogurt, fage plain... anyone else?

I think its time to change your diet then if you are serious about losing the weight. You are eating refined foods, and quite a lot of carbs and some of us just cant lose and eat carbs. Try to cut the carbs way down, and see if you get results. I think for your size 1200-1400 calories with exercise should be good as well,…

You actually cannot spot reduce fat. You have to lose it all over. You can tone the muscles under the arms (triceps and such) and that will help them not hang when the fat is gone, but you have to lose it all over and hopefully when you start losing it will come from there too, but that could be the last spot it leaves as…

Just out of curiosity, how many calories do you eat each day? and how tall are you? I wish I could lose this fast. I exercise 6 days a week too, with cardio twice a day (morning and evening) and weights 4 times a week and am luck if I can lose 1/2 lb a week... :(

I totally agree, a guy especially, your calories should be at least 1800 or more each day with lots of exercise, and your sodium is pretty high most days with not much food... so maybe try to watch the sodium too, as it will hold water as well. UGH! I quit smoking in 2007 and put on 50 lbs! I was not dieting, just eating and eating! Good job on only 8 then! You can do it! Just up the cals a bit more and keep your body moving as much as possible!

I wear a body bugg 24 hour/7 and get my normal calories burned. That seems really low anyway for the day. IF you are really interested, you could get one of these to tell you all the calories burned in a day ( well. a very good estimate anyway)

Sounds a little like bffm (burn the fat, feed the muscle) but he has a calorie count too, and then 40/40/20 on carbs/protein/fat or 50/35/15, depending... Glad its working for you though, keep up the good work!

its horrid, and whats worse, they pay $1500 for 10 days and I bet they will gain it back in 10 days too, as its just mostly water weight gone... duh!!! (smacks head...) If they just want to throw away good money, they can throw my way :)
