  • Yep, I get those kinds of comments too. It's nice to hear about the work I've done, and I usually say "Look how gross I was." or something along those lines. I really do understand that people are just trying to be nice, but sometimes I'm just like "Okay! I get it!" LOL And thank you :) I agree that confidence makes a HUGE…
  • Wow! That's so rude! I wouldn't even know what to say to that!
  • That sounds like a pretty good plan to me too! I just want to be healthy and happy, that's all! :)
  • Thanks for the website! My weight ranges from 121-164. I think I will stick with any range between 150-160. That way I can give myself a little room because if I set one goal weight I will probably go crazy! I personally thought 150-160 was even big at first, but I never realized the amount of an impact height had on one's…
  • Awesome! I've recently hit the "Overweight" portion on the BMI. It's a great feeling! Granted, I do not want to be overweight, but it's better than being labeled "Obese!" The BMI sucks LOL
  • Congratulations! That is absolutely amazing!!!!!! You look great!
  • So, I guess the verdict is in: gonna change it up! Thanks for all your advice!
  • Thanks! Definitely going to try this!
  • Thanks! I hate plateaus! I'm a "I want it done now!" type person, but I have to keep reminding myself that it's not going to work like that with weight loss. I'm definitely going to keep it up - I skipped the gym for one week once and felt like CRAP! Never gonna do that again! I'll try to switch it up and see where that…
  • Well, my current weight is 197. I go to the gym 3-4 times per week and do at least 75 minutes of intense cardio i.e. the elliptical, stair-master, and treadmill along with some minor weight lifting to tone. I stick to the calories that MFP allows me. I think I'll try to change up my routine at the gym a little bit and cut…
  • Definitely! I will do my best! Still learning how the MFP community works. If I see someone going off track, I'll do my best to offer an extra kick of motivation! :)
  • I agree! I remember when I would eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, but when the calorie counting started, I was SHOCKED. Now that I know how many calories are in something, I definitely stay far away! I'll do my best to keep up the good work, and good luck to you as well! 350 to 173 is AMAZING!
  • That is amazing!
  • Welcome! I'm new to the community i.e. posting in the message boards, but have been using MFP for the past year. I can honestly say that MFP has saved my life and made weight loss (dare I say it) EASIER. I've lost 44 pounds using MFP and plan to continue! Feel free to add me if you'd like! And yes, better late than never!…
