I personally wouldn't, but 99% of the people here will tell you should.

It's not a bad thing. I'd do it. It evens out.

I heard from my dad that one of his friends went on a whey protein "diet", but ended up swelling up even bigger than he already was. But he didn't exercise while drinking the stuff.

I used QuickTrim 14-day Burn and Cleanse. It worked for a while, but then I started getting sick and throwing up, especially after taking the cleanse pills. Nice kick start for my weight loss journey though.

Oh, I'm sure it's worth a try, fishboat! <3

Sounds okay, but I'm a computer programming major so I'm going to be sitting in front of a screen for more than 2 hours lol.
-
I love your tummy! It's so cute!
-
Looks great! Congrats!

I used to be like that too. I just constantly stay in communities like this to keep me on track. I've lost 10 lbs and haven't gained any back less than a month.

Have them join a sport at school. Get them a Wii or 360 with Kinect. Play tag with them? Kids still like tag, right? Take them to an arcade and play DDR for a while. I have no idea.

What LP said.

I feel guilty even after eating a salad.

Nice answers. Wasn't sure if it'd actually work. I've induced before, but not for weight loss. Just a random thought that popped into my head.

I didn't have a caffeine withdraw when I stopped drinking soda. I think it's because I found something so delicious and low cal that I just kind of forgot about soda.
-
Possibly! I notice that I get more hungry sometimes and I think it's a metabolism boost, because when I eat more, I don't gain anything.
-
Diet sodas, but I try to avoid them because soda makes me bloat.
-
I don't know if Barbies had any effect on me growing up. I was obsessed with my weight and everything, but I don't know what started.

Try taking measurements of your body. You may be losing weight in places you don't even realize.
-
It's probably water weight or food weight. Try not to eat after 5pm or 6pm and that should help. And just give yourself time to go to the bathroom to see if you actually lose anything.

I say yes and no. Yes, because if you're eating a low amount of calories worth of food, then you'll need a day or two a week where you kind of just pig out (reasonable) so your body doesn't think it's short on energy. No, because dieting is more than dieting, it should really just be called a lifestyle change. Are you…
-
Not hungry and loving it.

^ Lol! @ That quote.
-
Oh, okay, thanks!

I think the calipers are more accurate, but I'm not sure about the pamphlet guide that comes with it. After my doctor did my body fat percentage calculation on his own formula and I did mine for theirs, there was about a 3.7% difference. Not a big difference, but still ;p

I tried recently to stop smoking. I went 6 hours without a cigarette and then I started seeing things. Doctors actually told me they'd prefer it if I continued smoking.
-
That site probably doesn't have good calculations on calories in general or something. I like MFP, but I've never tried any other sites. Don't have a reason to.
-
Unless you're nearing or at an underweight BMI, I'm pretty sure that's not going to kill you... If you don't agree with it, don't do it.
-
Do you feel like they help tone your body as well?

I'm doing 500 a day as an experiment on fat loss on a VLCD. I'll be blogging on it here on a daily basis. Only had 240 today. It's not recommended to go on these kind of diets though. You can friend me to see my progress though.

<3 Awesome! I'll be your friend.
