  • I missed posting yesterday. I'm at 3/7. Today is a rest day. Yesterday was to be only cardio, but I just couldn't get into it so i did a level of 30 day shred. Happy hump day all!
  • I have wii fit and, although it's fun, it's not really great for exercising. If you do boxing or maybe a fast island run, you could burn some calories. Otherwise, I'd say it's more of a game and not so much of a good exercise routine.
  • 80s sounds awesome ivy! We've been having that kind of weather but it was cold and windy here today! I'm at 2/7 with 45 min of extreme shed and shred. First day doing it. It was okay, but not nearly as intense as ripped. Kinda looking forward to an "easier" routine for a week!

  • My first 2 are 25 months apart. My son was so upset when he walked into the hospital room and saw me with the baby. He just cried! What really helped was a small present to the baby in the hospital (a book) and another present (Thomas set) from the baby when we got home. It made such a HUGE difference!

  • Hang in there! I've read that when your muscles get used and are sore, your body can retain some water to help the muscles heal. I've had a lot of issues with my weight fluctuating up for a couple weeks and then it will go down. It's so weird! I'm def going down overall though.

I had to drop my calories, up my water intake, take an extra rest day (2 days per week now), and vary the duration and intensity of my workouts. Once I did that, my plateau broke in 2 weeks.   • I've had that happen before too where the first couple of days are easier than the last. I think it's that I'm working harder because I'm more effective at the moves and am doing them correctly. Let us know what you think of week 2. I'm on day 2 of it tomorrow!

  • Haha! I sucked at some of the modified moves too. I did elliptical today and tomorrow is my day off. Kind of looking forward to giving it another shot on Thursday though. Second time on a level is usually easier! You're probably right about your heart rate. I'll bet that day 2 will be higher!
