  • Oh wow! How long will it take to heal?
  • Haha! I so agree with this! I just moved up to level 2 of ripped today and found myself thinking this!
  • I love chocolate too. I actually buy chocoloate Chips and measure out a tablespoon and then I eat them one by one. They're like little Hershey kisses and are only 70 calories. You get the same flavor and impact with 1 chip vs 1 kiss and you can eat a lot more of them!
  • 2/7 today. I moved up to level 2 of Ripped in 30 today and I actually felt nauseous when I was done. Haven't felt that way in a long time. Not sure if I ate too much before exercising or what. I thought that 2 hours after eating would be fine though. I am not looking forward to seeing what level 4 will be like and not sure…
  • Started level 2 today and think it's a lot more intense. I never thought that I'd be wishing for a good old fashioned push up! So glad that I had done 30 day shred last month!! I had to stop a couple of times and I had to follow the modified version quite a few times. Maybe I'm just having an off day... ;)
  • I haven't looked at the other levels, but I would assume that they get harder. Plus, I remember Jillian saying that we're need a few different weights, so I'm guessing that she's going to have us up the amount of weight we're using which will make the workouts harder too.
  • 1/7 with level 1 of Ripped.
  • Hang in there aalewine! It does get easier! Let us know what you think of it losingforwinn. I did the shred last month, so it was much easier doing level 1 of ripped than it was of shred.
  • I did my 4th day of level 1 today. I actually started a day early, so I could move up to level 2 tomorrow (doing 4 days of ripped and a day of cardio per week), but I think i might stick with level 1 for an extra day. I'll have to see how I feel tomorrow.
  • Today is my day off, so I'll finish the week at 5/7. The scale is finally starting to move again! In the last 4 days, my weight has dropped 3.5 lbs! Hoping this continues and I don't plateau again! This thread is a great motivator. It's so nice to find one where people participate and actually show up regularly. Thanks…
  • I got one in February. I like knowing how much I've walked and how many stairs I've climbed. I loved the idea of it integrating with MFP and I did that for a couple of weeks. Problem is that it had me eating too many calories for a 2 lb Weight loss per week. I use Jillian michaels formula and eat 1400 calories a day. Fit…

  • Just finished day 2 of level 1. I'm feeling really good and looking forward to moving up a level!
  • How's everyone doing? Just finished day 2 and looking forward to moving up a level next week!
  • With the DVD there's a free 30 day trial of her website.
  • 5/7 with ripped in 30 level 1.
  • The only weights that I'm doing are in ripped....unless you consider hauling a 25 lb babe around weights! :)
  • On the video she says to take 1-2 days rest, online, her program is set up for 2 days circuit training, 1 day rest, 2 day circuit, 1 day cardio, 1 day rest, she says you can sub some of her videos like shred because they are the same circuit training concept.
  • Glad I have someone else shooting for 10 this month! Helps to keep motivated! I did the first level today and feel good. I was able to keep up with the more advanced person for almost all of it. I wimped out with the last set of pushups and did it on my knees. And the ab move where you're on your side raising yourself on…
  • 4/7 today. Started Jillian Michaels ripped in 30 - level 1. Hope everyone is having a great day! We have some fantastic weather here!
  • This is what I follow... 2 days Jillian, 1 day cardio, 1 day rest, 2 days jillan, 1 day rest. (this is per Jillian's online recommendation) On my Jillian days, I will sometimes add an extra 20-30 of cardio. I try to vary the intensity and duration of my workouts so I don't plateau. I did 30DS last month and only lost a…
  • I'm taking.2 days off. I only did 1 day during most of the shred and I think my body needs more down time. I've been in a huge plateau so I'm trying to stick to Jillian's recommendations onine
  • 3/7 yesterday with 25 minutes elliptical. Today is a rest day and I definitely need it. I was exhausted yesterday and today and talk about grouchy! Must be the changes in weather we've been having! ;)
  • I plan on doing 4 days ripped and a day of cardio with 2 days off. So, I'll do 2 days ripped, 1 day cardio, 1 day off, 2 days ripped, 1 day off. I'll add in a little extra like elliptical on some ripped days but how much and when depends on how much time I have. And, as the weather gets nicer, I'll take some walks. My plan…
  • The backs of my arms are sore today. I'm sure that other parts will start to hurt as the day goes on! Glad that today is my cardio day!!
  • It's a bit too early to tell. Level 1 ripped was harder than some of the shred stuff. She didn't give ou quite as much time between exercises and most of the moves were new, which was nice. We'll see how I feel tomorrow!
  • Just finished my first Ripped in 30 workout and it's not as easy as I expected. Love Jillian's workouts!
  • Getting ready to exercise. Should be doing anther day on 3rd level of the Shred, but am don't motivated to do it. Think I'll Start my new DVD Jillan's Ripped in 39 and see how it goes. I'm afraid that it might be too easy, but maybe the change up in intensity will help break this plateau. :) 2/7 today.
  • I'm 1/7 with 3rd level of 30 Day Shred and 25 min elliptical.
  • Congrats Heather! It's amazing how you are able to keep up with your fitness at 35 weeks! I tried keeping at it with my 3rd but i just couldn't. Great job! As of yesterday, I'm at 5/7. I did 3rd level of the shred and 20 min of elliptical yesterday. No matter what I do the scale won't move. With 3 kids I only have so much…
  • I'm stuck on a plateau and can't break it. I was losing 1 lb a week until the end of November. I stopped losing and actually gained 3 lbs between then and 1/1. I chalked it up to the holidays, I watched closely what I ate in January and the scale didn't budge even though i started doing the elliptical for 25-30 minutes…
