I allow myself a treat size chocolate bar (about 15g per day). Just had a perky nana... yummo! 55 Cals. I find allowing myself a little curbs the craving :-)

Great job so far! You are really pretty.

Great thanks! I do love spinach salad and here in NZ it is coming into strawberry season. Meanwhile I'll add in some kiwifruit with my salads :-) PS have fixed the diary thing! Interesting about the calcuium. Of course that would be why antacids shouldn't be taken within 2 hours of iron pills as absorbtion is affected…

muscular arms :-) and for food..... chocolate mud cake with whipped cream!

There is an intersting thread in motivation and support on juice fasting.....

I've been watching your journey and am interested to keep doing so. I know nothing about juice or fasts but have watched Big fat and nearly dead. Am interested in how it goes. Not for me but I might add some juices to my diet. CAn you share the recipes you are using?

I find my weight easily fluctuates by 3 to 4lb.... especially depending on TOM
-
...and wtf.... So I am on Day 3 of TOM.... 4 days ago my jeans fit nicely ... thank you bloating! and now they are too loose YAY..... I know just before next TOM they will fit again..... so now I have to have 2 bloody sizes!

I'd be really happy to be under 70kg by Christmas (78.7 now) and thrilled if I were 68!! Love it when the weather starts to warm up and I can walk in the evenings. Roll on daylight savings!

ARe you eating back your exercise calories. If not I'd say that you need to. YOu will be busy with your 2 babes and need to fuel your body. Honestly I found when I increased my intake by 100-200 I lost more. Also what TOM is it .... we often put on a little "water and salt" weight just before TOM. Maybe you are gaining…

I try not to do anything too different but never feel like exercising for the first 2=3 days. Like today.... It is 7.16pm and I am in bed. I put on 2-6lb just before and feel and bloated.... my jeans are tighter but it all disappears quite quickly and so my weight loss is maintained. I do crave chocolate and I have a rule…

I often weigh daily but record weekly or fortnightly. I find it really interesting how much my weight fluctuates in a day! Depending on salt intake, TOM, water etc. You need to be careful not to let the scales rule. It's the fit of your clothes that tell the real story :-) I am not obsessed with numbers at all so I just do…

I was diagnosed hypothyroid 5.5 years ago. I initially went on a synthetic thyroxine (I'm in NZ). While that regualted my blood levels and I immediately lost weight I felt awful on it. I changed to a more natural T3/4 mix called whole thyroid. I have been taking that for about 5 years now and do well on it. It does take…

Not sure if anyone has posted this recipe.... PASTRY FREE QUICHE They are great! You can throw in whatever you have in the house. I use this recipe: 4 eggs 500g of cottage cheese veges and meat if you want Whisk eggs. Stir in cottage cheese. I dry fry the meat/veges then stir in. Line a dish with baking paper generously.…

I agree with the above poster.... up the protein and lower the carbs a little. I find when I eat more protein I lose more and stay fuller. I have found that for me I actually need to eat at least 1400 a day (162cm and 79kg) and I always eat back most if not all of my exercise calories.. .those are the things that have…

or find a low cal sweet tasting treat. Mine is bulla minis... they are frozen yoghurts on a stick... 14 in a pack about 40-50 cals - swear they are like ice cream . I don't like yoghurt so they are great for me to get a little sweetness and some dairy in :-)

I find it really hard to fit in with 3 kids and teaching full time. Mainly exercycle interval training in the evening... but I make decisions to walk when I can and park further away and run around more with the kids at school. Did 7 days of the 30 day shred last month and was loving it but find it hard to fit in - will…

I've heard some people do it every other day. I got to Day 8 and then being back at work made timing difficult for exercise so I just do it when I can....will probably take me 90 days! Hand weights..... I got mine from No. 1 fitness (you can buy on trademe or go instore) I got 2kg weights but they are really a smidgeon too…

Hey guys...Yay a special place for us kiwis! I'm Pauline. I'm 37 and live in Rangiora (just out of Christchurch). I work full time as a primary school teacher and also have 3 daughters 11, 7 and 5. Hubby helps out a lot with the kids since we both work :-) I found MFP a while ago and joined 1st September 2011. I've lost…
