I too do cross training...currently I bike and do some spin classes...squats...burpees...lunges...etc...right now I am trying to strengthen my hip adductors and abductors to fight off hip fatigue... What do you do for cross training?

I am doing the c25k program for my 11 year old daughter....make sure she is hydrated before the run...not really necessary during since its only 30 minutes...but then hydrate after as well...did she eat right before you ran? That can cause cramping. Start her out with a good warm up before any running, that may help. Good…

I suggest you start rolling it out with a foam rollar although I use my rolling pin and its works wonders...learn the stretches (youtube) and do them every day...also strengthen your hip flexor muscles that will help tremendously...I have that same problem and I am still running after taking a couple days to rest and roll…

First of all, you can run just do it slowly at first and for short distances...unless you have an injury, and in that case rest...I agree with googling c25k and starting there...second of all I started 8 months ago and could barely run for a minute, now I can run for over an hour and I'm training for my first half-marathon…

If it sounds too good to be true...it probably is...it sounds like its some sort of fiber powder or some such wacky thing...lol...u can do anything u set ur mind to...losing weight the old fashioned way is more rewarding, I speak from experience...gimmicks are just no good for u or ur body...glad u decided against…

Just took my 1st spinning class and LOVE it...I am used to riding so I'm not too sore...but I have to say its a great workout and something different than running, which is what I need...crosstraining helps me to be a better runner...good for u for going for it...
