Sure, thanks! Last Friday was 157.9, and today is 156.9 :)

I'm in! Hoping it works to edit on my iPad. The last one didn't, and I found it a challenge to get to a real computer to update every week, even though I was recording on MFP the whole time. Holidays, and winter in general, have been challenging in the past for me too so I welcome the extra motivation to stay on track!

I'm on the other side of things. I'm 5'9" and started at 195lbs. Lost my first 25lbs in 3 months eating ~1500/day, now I'm at 165 and have upped my calories to ~1700 and I'm still losing. As long as you are logging very accurately (weighing solids and measuring liquids) don't be afraid of higher calories! Us tall gals need…

Finally back on a computer and can update my weights! The last document I could do from my iPad, but this one won't let me.

Yay! I'm going to be on vacation for most of the rest of the month, so we'll see how it starts out. I have been doing well though, so hope to continue that! Last one I missed my goal of 180, ending up at 183.

It looks like you add it as a "food", but it has negative calories. There are different calorie options depending on age of baby and if you exclusively breastfeed or not. Yes, you are supposed to eat calories burned. The calorie target that MFP set for you has the calorie deficit for weightloss accounted for, so not eating…

Um..I would get a second opinion on that. At your current weight your BMI is a normal healthy 23.5. Weighing 90lbs would put your BMI at 18.2, which is under weight. I can't imagine a competent doctor would recommend that.

Have you used your rescue inhaler? Also, maybe talk to your doctor about your controller medication. Many people with asthma can exercise if their medication regimen keeps their symptoms under control. Maybe bike moderately instead of vigorously?

Hmm...what are my geek/nerd credentials? Was a math/science geek in school, now I'm a pharmacist. Have always loved sci-fi/fantasy books and shows I read scientific literature for fun sometimes :P Never really got in to gaming myself, but enjoy watching other people. I love good food, and I like to knit!

I'm 5'9, currently 177 lbs and my size 12 pants are getting loose. I still wore them at 195lbs, but they were very tight. I carry a lot of my weight in my hips/thighs.

Sure, why not! Loved the books since I was a teenager, and now introducing them to my son :) Doing a Dietbet right now too, so if I meet my goal on that I should lose at least 6% of my weight in the next 12 weeks. I would like to be in Ravenclaw

I love a tasty almond and hazelnut butter. So yummy!

I'm 5'9" and currently ~179 lbs (started at logging at 193), and my goal is 145. I eat usually between 1500-1800 in a day (depending on exercise), but let myself go over one day a week if I want. I just started (July 1st) Stronglifts 5X5, which I do 3 days a week, and I'm doing a Couch to 5K 3 other days a week. One total…

I'm a very newbie lifter and I am doing a couch to 5k program too. Still have a bunch of weight to lose so I typically eat between 1500-1800 in a day depending on how active I am. I don't have any off limits foods, I love food too much, and I aim for 30% protein. Anyone in this thread can feel free to friend me :) I log…

Hi Jenny, I'm Lindsey! I'm 31 and have about 40 lbs to go as well. I log daily (41 days in a row today!) with an open diary, and I would be open to being an accountability partner :)

I have one that I got at the same time as my Fitbit. It seems to be accurate for weight to me, because it says the same as the other scale I have. The body fat % is different between my 2 scales though, so I can't say for sure that it's accurate for bf%. My Aria reads a higher %. I like using it and having the automatic…

And my second 5lbs down! It's going down pretty steadily, but I don't feel like I'm denying myself much. Just a return to normal eating habits (no more family bags of chips by myself) and increased activity!

Is this for overall miles (like my fitbit would show) or only longer intentional walk/run/bikes?

Hi! It's going to be individual for each person, but that doesn't sound too low to me. I'm 5'9 and my goal is 145lbs. A helpful tool might be this website: www.mybodygallery.com You can look at photos by height, weight, and body shape to see what being at that weight might look like for you. If you go by BMI (which may be…

Perhaps your goal is too aggressive? I've seen this as a guideline: Here is a great guideline for setting weekly weight loss goals: If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal, If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal, If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal, If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to…

I have dated all kinds, so overall it depends on the individual. In general I have a preference for bigger. Maybe it's because I'm tall/bigger myself. I have a pic in my profile that shows me with my guy. I'm 5'9 and he's 6'4. We could both stand to lose some and tone up, but we are happy with each other :)

Chips! There are other foods I like as much, but it's easier to eat smaller portions of them. Like bacon and chocolate. Chips I just can't get enough of. So I very rarely eat them. Beer would be a close second though.

Forgot to post last week when I got to it. I'm now down 6.3 lbs from 193 when I started counting cals! Next goal: reach 180 lbs (another 6.7 lbs down) by the end of June :)

Hello everyone! I'm Lindsey. I'm 31, and have one son who is 7. I'm currently at 190lbs, but my highest has been 195. I have a goal of 145lbs, which I would like to get to by next summer hopefully. It's very cold here for 6 months of the year and I don't stay as active as I should. I'm a pharmacist and I often work 12 hour…

You can add me! I'm on here daily.

Down 3 lbs!

28. I broke my ankle and noticed my first one a few weeks later. 3 years later and I have a few more, but no one except me notices.

Hi, I'm Lindsey. I'm 31, 5'9", and currently weight 193lbs. I have one son who is 7, and a wonderful partner, Patrick. I put on 50 lbs in the last 6 years while going to school, but I'm done and really need to focus on my health again. Hoping to get down to 145. Last year I did lose 18 lbs, but I gained it all back this…
