I prefer mornings, but previous trainers of mine have said that it is really a matter of preference. You will work out most effectively when you are in the right mindset or mood - some people aren't morning persons, and I've know others who want to knock it out the second they get up.

The first time I ever lost weight was after a breakup. I caught my SO cheating, so I wanted to make them see what they had missed - lol. 100lbs later, I finally got over feeling angry.....and gained it all back :O The lesson: lose weight for yourself, not out of spite or revenge :P

I'm going to agree with the above poster. 1200 calories is nothing - you're either starving yourself, or not being honest/dilligent when it comes to keeping track. If you don't log your food 100%, you're wasting your time....and ours too.

I like this :) It's hard to take people seriously, or give them sound advice on how to troubleshoot a problem, when you can't even see the complete picture of what they're eating. I have a feeling that dilligence in recording, and knowing your true intake, is quite often the real problem for many people.

Are you pushing your body at the gym? The goal should be to always feel a little sore the day after you go to the gym, this way you are pushing your body to constantly improve. The more your muscles grow and get used to working, the less effort they have to exert to perform the same task.

Artificial sweeteners can have their drawback....but there is really no comparison to the effect they have on weight verses actual sugar. With most of the studies I have seen....the link between the artificial sweetener and weight gain is usually really weak, or not concrete enough to draw a direct correlation.

I can't imagine being so incredibly isolated from the world that I would need a World Record to get the attention I wanted/needed. This woman doesn't need national attention to get help, she needs a psychologist to help her with her disconect from reality and a family that is not going to enable this kind of behavior.
