This thread made me think of beer (which I haven't been able to have since I started a few weeks ago)...and I realized I actually have some calories left and can have one. Thank you. I would have hated to realize the one night I've got room in my 'budget' it for it I never thought of it!

My concern is that it comes off fast...yes. And as soon as you stop eating from that diet, it would go back on just as fast. Just like any fad diet you can name. Many of us at MFP have realized that as fast as we'd like to lost weight, we'd also like to keep it off and be healthy...the trade off is that it takes longer.

I will not put my hands on the heart rate sensors at the gym for that reason. They beep and warn me heart rate is too high, but I feel fine (well, except that I'm busting my butt!) That sensor beeping is kinda scary though. I talked to my doctor about it and she checked me out, so I guess I just have a higher than average…
