If you join a gym, most members would more than likely help you out. People get excited when you tell them you think what they are doing is worth copying :-). Also, the strength machines all have instructions on them.

I haven't uploaded pics yet, but my starting weight was 190 and I am currently at 161. I lost the first 15 on dieting alone, then started going to the gym 5-6 days a week and running and doing strength training. When I hit 165, I upped my calories from 1200 to 1430 to make it easier on me. I eat back my exercise calories…

Keep the protien, it helps you stay full. I am aiming for about 100 g a day. I try to stick with 40% carbs, 30% protien and 30% fat and have lost almost 15 pounds sine the beginning of June.

How active did you set yourself up as? If you marked "sedentary" or "mildly active" eat your exercise calories back. If you marked "moderately" or "high" don't eat them back because it would be counting them twice.

Drink o protein smoothie. Buy some frozen fruit, some Body fortress protein powder, and some tropicana 50, and BAM! Full for hours and you only spend about 300 calories.
