Thank you for perspective! I'm very sorry about your friend relapse Joe. Now I want to rant about how inappropriate I feel it is for a physician to tell a patient a time line on their life expectancy. I don't get it at all. Why not have compassion and common sense and decency to tell a patient that they should live…

Replacing peanut butter?? Isn't happening anytime soon!

Chocolate hands down on most days

Fruit has many nutritional benefits but if you have a reason to limit sugar intake than measure, record and control the amount of fruit. From a quick look at your diary it looks like all's fine

Lots of us have websites. I think it's against the rules to post. Also are you here for personal or business reasons?

We all need to surround ourselves with supportive, caring people. Thinking its time for that person to either go back to the class herself or find a different friend or partner who better suits the supportive role. Personally I find loving and caring friends around me but I have consciously built my tight knit circle to…

I ate too much. Pure and simple. Over consumed and under active. I've corrected that unbalance and am much happier and healthier.

Yes google the restaurant by name. I always try to view the menu and also nutritional info if that's available before I go to the restaurant. I generally know what I am ordering before I go. If you don't find anything online ask when you get there.

Hi Taunto! You write the best threads!

Try simply walking for 20 -25 minutes after a tough workout. I heard a long time ago that it helps and it certainly does for me! Also plenty of water and take time to stretch after working out. Epson salts in the bath do help and I believe a good multi vitamin does too.

In a word it's called love. My closest friends are fun, reliable, honest and are givers rather than takers. I trust them and they can trust me completely.

Why not stick with what you're doing and stay committed to your goals? You can lose the weight as you have proven so in the past. Also, do you have any health issues that your husband feels surgery will help with? It seems like your asking for validity for the decision you've already made which is fine if you're looking…

"Wow! You look great! Are you feeling ok?" Is the weirdest comment people say to me.

Very cool! I agree that it's about what's going on in our minds. Getting control of our thoughts and implementing a plan is key to long lasting weight loss. Congratulations on all your success so far! You're an inspiration!

Any workout I can do is what I prefer but my most consistent and deliberate workouts are at the gym and in classes.

It's hard to offer an opinion as your diary is closed. You're exercising many hours as well as feeling out of control in the kitchen. Maybe a few sessions with a dietician or therapist could help put things in good perspective for you?
-
Congratulations! Just keep up the great work and not only will people notice that you're looking fit but your health will benefit as well!

Hi Trisha, I also am 5' 1/2" like you. I lost all my weight keeping my net under 1200 calories a day. I exercise a lot. For my body it's simply calories in verses calories out. I have a Registered Dietician and an Exercise Therapist as well as a medical health care team that I work with. They have all told me for my height…

Not for me thanks!

Congratulations on the 65 pound loss. Can you check in with a registered dietician but first maybe a trip to your primary care physician to be certain it's not something common like thyroid etc.? Good luck!

Important question is are they comfortable? If so keep. If not, don't keep.
