  • Thanks for the support I'm UK too so kg comes more naturally than pounds, but of course the real reason is that 100kg sounds less than 220 lb Trouble with that is that weight loss in kg sounds less impressive The answer is to quote weight in kg but weight loss in lbs to get the best of both worlds :smile:

  • The only way I can avoid lapses with ice cream, choccy, biscuits etc is not to buy it in the first place (I have just enough willpower for that, but not enough to ignore temptation if it's in the house) - my fridge is a spartan, austere and depressing place !
  • I've adjusted my diet to match the MFP recommended amount (1650 cal) - excercise I treat as a bonus and don't eat extra to balance it
  • Liver stores about 400gm glucose as glycogen, so about 1600 cal
