  • Hope to be there before too long. Great accomplishment.
  • How did you get your abs to look that good? Are there any specific exercises or toning you can recommend? I carried all my weight in my stomach, so now I have a lot of loose skin. The good news is I can see if finally starting to tighten up some.
  • Thanks for the motivation. I so want to see that result.
  • This. Only mine is Thursday evenings when I go weigh in. I weigh every day I go to the gym just to see which direction I'm going in, but I log that in another app and not here. That way I can see a true up and down graph of my journey when I'm all done with the losing.
  • My FT7 is usually about 50 cal under what the treadmill says. It seems more correct to me.
  • You look so much happier. Congrats on your success. Any food tips?
  • Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt - 80 cal 7 raw almonds - 45 cal or 15 for 90 cal. Baby Bell Light cheeses - 50 cal. Atkins protein bars. A tablespoon of peanut butter on a low carb tortilla wrap. Sugar Free Jello or Jello Temptations (10 cal, 60 cal) 50 cal cans of diced peaches or mixed fruit Atkins or EAS Carb Control shakes.…

  • I started 11/29/11 at 260.4. Current weight is 185.7. Goal is 130, but will have to see if that is too much or not. Might look good at 150. Have to wait and see.
  • I eat a half cup of Quaker Old Fashioned oats made with water, into which I add a quarter cup of blueberries. Works for me.
  • I started my weight loss journey in earnest on 11/29/11. As of 4/2/12, I've lost about 60 lbs.
  • I'm thrilled for you and can't wait to see the pics next year.
  • Tell her to come with you and she'll see just how much fun you are having.
  • Yes. I can honestly say I have never in my entire life felt anything but fat. Even though I've seen pictures of me that indicate I was at one point severely deluded. I used to be an appropriate weight. I saw the picture. But I never knew it. These days I keep getting told to go buy some clothes that fit, so I'm at least…
  • Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt. Regular kind is 80 cal. Diabetic Friendly kind is 50. Baby Bel Light Cheese. 50 cal. Reduced or no fat cottage cheese. Philadelphia Cream Cheese has a light variety. Peanut Wonder. Kind of like peanut butter only a bit healthier. Runnier, though. Don't know the costs as I don't do the shopping.…
  • Have you been doing other cardio prior to this? If not, I'd recommend to start off with a vigorous walking or treadmill or elliptical campaign to build up your stamina first. I am so overweight that I am still unable to do the first day myself. I am working on losing a bit more and then I'll try again. I can do the cardio…
  • I'm not a huge kissing fan. My hubby has learned to accept this about me. Once in a while I just go with it though because it makes him happy.

  • I bought my food scale at WalMart. It was a Biggest Loser scale. It measures in oz. or metric and has a memory and zeroes out with whatever you put on top of it before adding to it. I love it.
  • Today is the only day that matters. Use it wisely.
  • Marvelous transformation. You look so happy!
  • Belly that doesn't jiggle.
  • I have two or three favorites that I've saved as meals that I eat for breakfast. I know what they are and how much they cost. My latest favorite is one egg with Baby Bel Light cheese and Tillamook Cheddar cheese. I find this fills me up pretty well for 220 cal. and 1 carb. Or I have a half cup old fashioned oats with a…
  • You've probably already gone now, but Sugar-Free Jello, Sugar-Free popsicles, Baby Bel Light Cheese rounds, Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt, Walden's Farm 0 cal dressings and I saw the other day they make ketchup. Salad greens. Cold cuts without nitrates. There is a brand that doesn't have them, but can't recall the name right…
  • Everyone is talking about calories. How are your carbs? I am trying to eat 1200 cals most days, but I'm trying to keep my carbs under 90 gm. I think this makes a big difference.
  • Congratulations! Hoping to be there soon myself. Sooon.
  • You are an inspiration to many. Congrats.
  • I agree with adding a few calories, but also perhaps you can vary your exercise routine. I know routine makes us comfortable, but the body adapts. Sometimes you have to shake it up. (Says the woman who is treadmill girl all the way. ;->)

  • I started out drinking it by adding Mio water enhancer to it. I like the Strawberry-Kiwi flavor. But then after a bit it got to where I didn't want it at all and now I'm an all water all the time girl. It's definitely an acquired taste. But oh so good for you.
  • Agree with the rest. Here are some things that work for me. Breakfast Suggestions: Quaker Old Fashioned Oats (1/2 c.) and 1/4 c blueberries. OR 1 egg scrambled with 1 baby bel light laughing cow cheese and 1 piece of cheddar (90 cal slice). OR Eggbeaters and cheese Lunch Suggestgions: Whole Wheat low carb wrap with 1…
  • I bought three pairs of pants at Kohl's just a couple of weeks ago. Not I'm a bit upset with myself. One of the pairs I wore for the first time today. I can already take them off without unbuttoning or unzipping them. I think I'm going to have to do the thrift store thing too, because I can't keep buying at that rate.
  • I dream of doing that. I have to lose just a bit more before I'm confident enough that my knees can support me without injury. You should be so proud of yourself. That is quite an accomplishment.
