Every day I walk 2 miles to work and 2 miles home again. I'm logging this as exercise (30 mins at 4mph) and I eat my exercise calories. I'm still losing weight, so I think it's OK to log regular walking as exercise.

Invitation sent. Welcome to MFP!

The Fitbit didn't suit me. I couldn't get it to record the miles I was walking, even though the step counter was spot on. I posted an item on my blog, if anyone's interested: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/PeeTeePee/view/why-i-returned-my-fitbit-193911

Porridge, made with milk. Add some blueberries, chopped apricots and a little honey. Delicious!

I suppose 'losing' something means that you hope to find it again, misplaced it in other words. I lost my keys, I lost my book, I lost my wallet, etc. However to say 'got rid of' is implying 'and I hope to never see it again'. I finally got rid of my cold, I got rid of that old car, etc. Interesting idea, I'll try using it…

My wife and I are using Leslie Sansone's 'Walk Away the Pounds'. No jumping about and it's a good workout imho.

Legitimate comments from runners, but beginners need advice and encouragement.

One immediate observation I could add is to have more at breakfast. Perhaps porridge or cornflakes and slice up the banana to add to it. The rest of your day seems to be good and healthy (albeit the proviso already mentioned about eating more!). Hope this helps.
