Always happy to help others if I can, feel free to add me.

Happy to be added as a friend if you're looking. I'm from Sarf London, now in the suburbs (Sutton).

Welcome to MFP. I've been here a little while and happy to be added as a friend if you wish

I look silly in a little black dress, but I'm hoping to be at my target weight and maintaining!

I drink green tea as well, 4-5 cups a day. I also drink peppermint 'tea' as well after lunch and evening meal. There are lots of studies on the benefits of green tea, just google them, but I mainly drink it because I like the taste and it helps me with my water intake for the day.

I'm in the UK (London/Surrey border). Happy to befriend you if you want to add me.

Judging by kriselove's previous post, I think the reference is to Tiffany Rothe
-
Please add me as a friend if you wish. I try to comment on all my friends progress regularly, but sometimes UK vs US timezones get in the way.

I'm without Ubuntu at the moment as my daughter has "liberated" my laptop and put Win XP back on it. I'm going to treat myself to a new one after Christmas. Now, which laptop to get, hmmm.

London born and bred. Always happy to befriend anyone, UK or otherwise!

I'm losing about 1.5 lbs a week and on a daily calorie "allowance" of 1230, plus any exercise calories I earn. When the happy day arrives, I'll increase my daily allowance to about 1900 (as recommended by MFP) and add in my exercise calories. Hopefully (fingers crossed) I'll stop losing and won't start gaining!

It's his favourite shirt, why wouldn't he wear it!

I find that selecting from the "RECENT" option (rather than "MOST USED") is a bit quicker as I tend to repeat regularly some of my foodstuffs. I also save meals using the "Quick Tools" -> "Remember meal" option, as, again, I tend to repeat certain meals. Not perfect, I know, but it saves a little time.

What magazines are you likely to write for? I'm just curious, because you say, by implication, that you've been on MFP for some time, yet this is your first post. Call me suspicious.....

Go Betty Lou. Fantastic!
-
One measure porridge oats, two measures semi-skimmed milk, 1min 40sec in the microwave. Stir. Leave to stand for one minute, add tbsp honey, stir and enjoy. Still taste this morning's.

I've just removed mine. Funny thing is, my weight is down this week too.
-
I use my 30 minutes (walking to work) to listen to radio plays on my MP3 player. In the UK the BBC Radio 4 station has 3 or 4 plays every week. These generally last 30-60 minutes, so I have plenty to choose from.

Fantastic, great progress. Well done!

Welcome back
-
Terrific NSV! Well done.

Try googling for an answer. These two web sites came up when I googled "housework calories burned": http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/exercise/tips/housework_workouts.htm You'll have to cut and paste the link as MFP doesn't insert links to web sites outside MFP :o(
-
Have you tried googling it? There's bound to be more info on Amazon/Ebay/et al, if not the manufacturer's web site.
-
It's been steady progress for you and you're right to feel pleased about that. Keep it up and the 95 for Christmas is 'do-able'. Well done and thanks for being one of my MFP friends.

Bump. I posted a similar question a few days ago and interested in collating answers from both posts
-
So sorry to hear of your loss. We lost our dear Cassie two years ago and still miss her every day. My thoughts are with you.
-
I guess it depends on your starting weight and distance walked, but it seems excessive to me. I walk for 30 minutes every weekday at about 4mph. My weight loss is averaging 2lb a week.
-
Bump - I asked a similar question earlier this week, so would like to keep both topics together to help me decide.
-
I'm from "darn sarf" (but please don't hold it against me!). Happy to be a friend if you would like to add me.

The first one is the sweetest, but sorry, I don't agree with your comment "I know it's not much". It's a heck of a lot, actually. Well done!
