Give yourself a certain time everyday, just 30 minutes, of you time. If you can do that for a week and do an exercise you enjoy., no matter how many calories you burn, by the end of the week you should have the extra energy. You can do it, you have been doing so great, you deserve this.

I have only taken measurements twice - just started MFP - but I take them on the same day I weigh and at the same time, in the morning.

Fiber One or Fiber Plus bars - they come in chocolate and peanut butter, are high in fiber and low in calories. The fiber one Chocolate Peanut Butter is only 90 calories and the Fiber Plus Chocolate chip is 120 calories. Not only are the yummy they are very filling and get me through the morning. That and I get to have…

Thanks for posting, you really help me to believe I can do this. I'm the same height, same starting weight and same goal. I just hope I get the same results.

Big brother is watching huh? AT least it wasn't about Viagra

I have to agree with you on that. When I think Doctor Who, I think Tom Baker. He was my inspiratoin for my first knitting project - a 15 foot scarf.

Ditto, There is no way I could do this if I think about it as a diet. To me diet is such an ugly word. When I started counting calories I was amazed how fast they add up. I still each pretty much eat what I want- just not as much. I'm only 2 weeks into this but have lost 5 pounds already. The last time I tried to "diet" I…

Great topic, thanks for posting, I had been wondering the same thing myself. I don't have a HRM but was thinking about getting one to compare to my WII ( AE Sports 2) says I am burning.

They sound yummy, they sound easy, they sound like a winner to me.

That has been my problem also. I am trying to change my habits at night, instead of watching TV. I go in the other room and work on my knitting machine, or go read a book. Either activity limits my eating ability and since I don't associate food with them, I don't think about snacking. I guess I am hoping if I keep this…

I just ordered mine today off Ebay. I have heard Zumba is a fun way to get a great workout. I'm looking forward to it. I know I have had alot of success with the Wii Fit.

I never could understand them myself. They seem to keep popping up all over the place, Maybe it's just me, but I would rather spend my time outside and get a tan the old fashion way, of course I'm old school :-)

 Congratulations, I know it was a lot of hard work but you are so worth it. You look happier and healthier.

Hello and welcome. I'm from Shreveport. I have only been on MFP for 7 days now, but it seems to keep me motivated.

I just started today also. I have never counted calories before, it is amazing how fast they add up. I am in my late 40's and the weight just doesn't come off as easy as it used to. I am hoping that by using this handy tool, I will start to change me eating habits and become healthier. I miss doing the things I used to.
