any food entry with a * in front of it means that it was entered by another user like us. If there isn't one, it's been entered by the website. I try to use the foods with out the * when possible. If what you're eating has a package, use what is on that package. If not, I google it just to double check. Steph

Totally feel the same way! It's been bad here this week so far! Real slow! I try to keep a drawer full of good for me snacks and I keep a dish of carrot and celery sticks in the frige here at work. Makes it a little easier. Stay strong!

That's a lot more calories than the 14 you would consume doing something else..... Oh wait, different thread.....

I'm planning on treating the holidays like any other day. When I eat high fat, rich foods, my body doesn't like me. I figure just do normal portion size and only eat what I would normally eat on a regular day. I might have a small piece of dessert, but I don't plan on going over board.

I'm from Oconomowoc. Welcome to MFP - it's a great place to be. A lot of supportive people. Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like. Steph

Blah - sick of water today - but got it down!

I have been having an issue with sugar the past few days myself. I'm going to try no candy today! Yikes!
-
Nuts, juice, milk.... You'll get past this phase. LOL

I carry my big purse to movies. Air pop some popcorn. Bring some almonds, dried fruit, pretzles, fruit snacks......... Or save some calories and have movie popcorn. :flowerforyou:

Internal temp of chicken needs to be 165 for safe consumption. (juices need to be clear) Baking time will vary depending on your oven. I use more of a dry rub/seasoning. I use salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayanne.

Wow - you all need to relax. And actually - I love stippers. On top of the fact that they can move they usually smell pretty good. And yes, I know from sitting many times in the front row or with a lap dance. I enjoy strippers - I'm just not planning on taking exercise and diet advise from them. I'd take advise on how to…
-
Now we're taking advise from a stripper? Doesn't anyone else see any issue with this. Why not take advise from a certified trainer and a nutritionist? Wouldn't that make more sense? Take advise from people who are educated in that field? Just sayin.

During the week I work out in the evenings. At first I thought the same thing, that it would keep me up. I think that it has actually improved my sleep.

You could do an upper body punching routine? Get those arms going to get your heart rate up. Swim? Or, take a rest and let your knee heal!
-
Men - are - how do I put this nicely.....stupid. Period. They don't know the right things to say, or do. I can imagine that he thought that he was helping you buy saying no to more Pringles. Just always remember - men are stupid. And unless you're in an abusive relationship - I'd chalk it up to that!.
-
Maybe if you put your topic to something that would draw others like your self to open your post that might help you find some. I thought maybe it was a poop issue or something..... LOL It might be easier to finds others that are trying for the same thing. Just saying.

Maybe you should sit down and redo your profile Why I Want To Get In Shape To feel better about myself and so I don't lose my breath walking up the stairs or up hills. My Inspirations My friends and family helping me on the journey! Go back to these - are they still the same? Were they just something that you tossed in…

It would be easier to give suggestions if your food journal was public. :flowerforyou:
-
Dude - you trying to kill yourself? Have you tried P90X yet? You're nuts! Good luck! Haahaa!
-
I work out before dinner. But I usually grab a few ounces of baked chicken or a protien bar before I get to the gym.
-
How have I not heard of this wonderful sounding dessert????? I will have to try tomorrow! Yummy! Thanks for posting!

I'm going to be quick and to the point. Yes, you're doing something wrong. Check portion size, calorie count, and calorie burn. If you are honest - accurate with calories in vs. calories burned then there is not reason why you haven't lost weight in a year. If you have been 100% honest with that then I highly suggest that…

When I do cardio - step class, elliptical, bike, an at home DVD - I get my heart rate up to the point where it would be hard to talk to someone. Is that what you're calling winded? That's where you're suppose to be at. You're suppose to be able to talk, but not like a normal conversation. You're suppose to be sweaty.

Veggies I find to be low cal can filling. I eat them all day long as snacks.
-
Very awesome! You should be very proud of your self! Congrats!

I ignore my sugar, but make sure that the majority of sugar that I get is from natural sources, not man made. No extra added sugars to my food. I eat fruit and go over all the time. But that's just me! Steph :flowerforyou:

Amber I would ask his doc!

Calories in need to be less than calories out - I hear it doesn't matter what time you eat. I sometimes eat right before I go to bed.
-
I count everything that I eat or drink (other than water/diet soda) I use to eat a lot of avocado until I realized how much fat and calories were in them. Everything in moderation. Good fat is still fat. Good calories are still calories.

I would have continued to work out. If you get a bug, it's not going to make it worse or better by working out. Just make sure that you get sleep, healthy food, and plenty of water. A bug is a bug, you gotta let it run it's course.
