They are high in fat and calories. Some more than others. But it is a good food to eat. Good fat, good calories, protein. Everything in moderation! Watch your portion size with all you're food and you'll be fine. FYI - I usually eat almonds - dry roasted without salt. Walnuts are high in Omega3. Hope this helps. Steph

I don't take anything other than a daily vitamin. Some Whey protein in a shake if that counts, but I was doing that only because I wasn't getting enough protein. I don't think you need supplements for weight training unless you are going to be Miss Weight Lifter America. If you're just lifting to tone and define you should…

Push ups are a chest exercise, not an arm exercise.

What will help you with not having enought energy is EXERCISE! Not everyone likes exercise - most hate it - but they know that they need it in order to be healthy. There are so many excuses why not to exercise - you just gotta do it. If you don't know what you like - try everything! Try step class, zumba, yoga, pilates,…

Make it the way you want. He will eat it. Tell him to shut up or cook for himself! Haahaa I wonder why I'm single......

Hey Chuck - that's my goal this year too! 1/2 marathon! Good luck! I'm sure I'll be asking a ton of questions too. I have to get my foot to the point of not hurting when I run first. I guess a month post-op is asking a little much!

I don't know if they have one set. 70 calories? I think you're ok. Haahaa. Jump up and down a few times to burn it off. LOL I am over 125 right now. (Before exercise) You're fine.

You've come to the right place! Best wishes to you and your new life! :flowerforyou:

I saw great results with 30DS. If you can't do it every day - don't worry about it. I say start with level one - do that for 10 days, then if you feel like you can go to the next level, move up. Keeping in mind that the next level is going to be harder. I will also suggest using the two pound weights. The 5's will be too…

It's Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. It's a work out DVD.

Yes, your scale will go down. It will take you a long time before you start building muscle for it to be noticable on the scale. I know that I have gained muscle, but in the process of losing the weight it hasn't been noticable on the scale.

Try changing your topic to "Trying to Bulk Up" You may get more men looking at it. Most of us ladies are looking to slim down. My guess: Lean protien, good fats, weights. Good luck!

I can't do them either. I have to have a spotter for them. Just hold my feet. Takes some of the weight off of the pull up. And gets me past the mental block that I have with them.

Salmon with dill sauce, green beans, jasmine rice.

Icecream - try frozen yogurt. Kemp's makes single serving ones - the wild berry is awesome. Chocolate - don't go for fake crap - just have one piece. The prepackaged one's I find I can have just one and put them back in the pantry and not have more. Or - exercise some and then you'll have room for some sweets. Good job on…

I'm having a pork chop, some steamed carrots, and jasmine rice with some mushrooms and spinach mixed in. Cook time of the chop - 1/2 hour-ish, that's pretty quick. You'd have to check my food journal for calories. Don't remember off the top of my head.

I'm in Wisconsin and we have them. I can find them at Pick'n Save - they are usually covered in wax to make them last longer. They are yummy.

I agree - roast em up! yummy!

I think it's great that you can now donate your cookies. You can still support a great cause like the Girl Scouts and not have the temptations of having them in the house. I know I can't eat just three Thin Mints!

I just had surgery - right before Christmas on my foot. I took a week off - doc said I had to, then went back at it. Got released for upper body and stationary bike. Don't stop. Just because you hurt a knee, or foot, or arm, doesn't mean that you cant work out the rest of your body.

I don't think that cheat meals/days are a good option. Espically if you're just starting out. I think that it's a bad habit to get into. IMO. I'm eating out tonight but I know that I'll make a healthy option when I order. Dressing on the side, grilled not fried, no cheese, what ever it may be....
