What do you mean how much is a cup? It's a cup, not 1/2 cup, not 3/4's cup, not 1-1/2 cups,. it's a cup..... LOL Cup is kinda a funny word if you say it alot.... Most recipes will tell you how much is serves.

I have a foot surgery coming up in December (my third) I was planning on getting a boxing routine to do. Sitting, boxing routine. It will still get my heart rate up there for cardio and keep my arms and back in good shape. I was also planning on doing any mat work that I can stand to do depending on the pain. Ask your doc…

I have never been a member of a gym. And I live in Wisconsin, so I need to be able to do indoor exercising. I love the Jillian Michaels DVD's - No More trouble Zones, Yoga Melt Down, 30 Shred, Burn Fat. They are $10 each and can be found at Walmart or on line at amazon.com For some of them you'll need a mat, 3 lb hand…

Oh for Pete sake. Just do a damn push up. Do ONE. Just one! I bet you can. Right now, drop and give me one! If you can't - do a 1/2 of one. You have to start some where, and you also have to stop saying you can't!

How old are you?

You really need to stick to 1200 as a min for calories. If you're exercising, you def need to stay about 1200 calories. Make sure that you're logging everything. Condiments count too. Drinks, other than diet soda, water, tea. I would also say try to cut out as much processed food as you can. Fresh is always better if you…

I hate cook books. I prefer online. I am cookinglight.com, myrecipes.com, smittenkitchen.com (this one you have to adapt for low cal cuz this aint diet food!), delish.com. This way, you're not spending a fortune on books that you might have 2 or 3 keepers out of, when you can get them for free on line. But that's just…

$40 for 10 work outs - even if you hate it it's still not a bad deal. You'll get a work out and see results with almost any work out DVD, it's just a matter if you actually do the program. Like me, I didn't see any results from P90X - cuz I got it, and never do it. LOL! It's sounds like a good concept. I say give it a try…

It could be all in your head my dear...... Habits are hard to break, new routines are hard to start. Your body will change, but it takes time. I felt hungry all the time when I first started too. Then you really learn what to eat. ha.
-
Ok - so now what you do is go for a walk, a jog, do a work out video and gain back some calories so you can still eat a healthy dinner. edit - sorry, thought you were just over, didn't see that it was in the fat, but this is what you would do if you were over on your calories. Haahaa! And my food journal is public if you…

Welcome.

I have lost weight (40lbs) and I still drink Diet Pepsi. At least one a day. I see no reason to cut it out of my diet. (I'm going to die of something and if aspertame kills me, so be it!) I drink a crazy amount of water every day so I figure a little aspertame isn't a big deal.

I can tell you to NOT get Gatorade Recovery Strawberry/kiwi - it's nasty!
-
Too funny - I just had two tbsp right out of the jar right before I read this! haahaa! Love me some peanut butter!

Who's Tamara?

I get all of mine from cookinglight.com or myrecipes.com

same here. I have the AM Yoga for your week. It has 5 different routines. I also like the P90X yoga, but it's not the nice relaxing easy yoga! and it's an hour and half long. I say go with anything Rodney Yee!

Smittenkitchen is great website (I use it all the time for my baking), but nothing on there is low fat, low cal. haahaa!

This was posted a week or so ago. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/115505-104-vegetarian-meals?hl=meatless+meals&page=1#posts-1578035 104 meatless meal ideas. I would take the description, then go to myrecipes.com and search for them. I hope this helps. Stephanie

That is how I lost most of mine. Then hit my plateau and came here. I have since added work out DVD's by Jillian Michales and yoga classes. But most of it is counting calories and walking. Good luck! Steph:flowerforyou:

I feel your pain! Mine are gone. Haahaa!. Just imagine, you'll save money on sports bras! Heehee! Kidding.
-
oh - another thing - make sure that you go read the NEWBIE posts - they are a MUST read as they will explian a lot. That way you avaoid asking the same questions that 100's of people before you have already asked. And, use the search tool in the mesage borads. It's a great tool to use, once again, to avoid asking the same…

My food journal is public if you need ideas. Any questions, just ask. Good luck! Steph:flowerforyou:

Get a food scale if you don't already have one. Sometimes as humans we totally don't get portion size. Second, not sure what you're doing for Cardio - but step it up if you can. Or change it up. Don't keep doing the same routine, especially if it's not workin. Try something new! Good luck!

About Me I haven't filled this out yet. Why I Want To Get In Shape I haven't filled this out yet. My Inspirations I haven't filled this out yet. Fill out your profile! It helps. Figure out why you are here. Why you want to get healthy. Be honest and find the strength from with in yourself. It's there, you just gotta look…

Rock on girl! Keep up the awesome work that you are doing. You'll get to your goal in no time!

Your journal isn't public.

So what are you saying Becca? Cheese is the new aspertame? Mmmmmm! Aspertame...... I live in Wisconsin - No other way about it - I love cheese. I don't care what's in it. (I try to stay away from that over processed crap - except on my over processed turkey burger that I wash down with a Diet Pepsi - now that is an awesome…
