  • If you can get to Target or Walmart, pick up Jillian Michales No More Trouble Zones or 30 Day Shred. Both are about $10 and all you need is 3 pound hand weights, a DVD player and TV, maybe a mat if you don't have carpet. Those are two DVD's that will show a ton of improvement if you do them and eat right. Good luck.…
  • Stick with it! It's not easy! It's damn hard! But YOU are worth it! You will smell better! You'll be able to breath better. Feel better. Look better. You'll be able to taste food again. Smell your shampoo and perfume for more than 1/2 hour. You'll be amazed that you ever let yourself walk around smelling like an ash tray!…
  • F 'em - prove them, and yourself that they're wrong!
  • Why bother? Eat real chocolate A dove promise dark chocolate: 38 cal 4 fat 2 sat 7 carb 0 soduim 1 fiber 1 protein 6 sugar And it has a lot less crap in it then the fake stuf.
  • I usually do 1/2 hour stationay bike for warm up. Then lift weights - one day chest, back , arms, legs - depending on what day it is Then 1/2 hour ellipticle. Tuesdays I do that plus step class Wednesday I do that plus core class Saturdays - step, core, circuits, elipticle I'm usually at the gym for two hours - some times…
  • Lust at first sight - of course. Love at first sight - nope. Soul Mates - Nope.
  • Urgh - I suppose...... Happy Birthday!
  • I almost had water coming out of my nose as I was reading this post. LOL
  • Double or triple them by working out you silly girl! 200 will get you about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter - that's it! LOL Good Luck. Next time think before you eat the cake..... :flowerforyou:
  • You're 37 - not 12 - don't fall into peer pressure. My goodness. If anything tell them that you have to drive and that you're changing your ways and don't want to drive when you have been drinking. Have a water, pop, or only one glass of Champagne, not six.
  • Eat less processed foods. The "real" foods as one of the other posters said.
  • I did find some reduced sodium stir-fry sauces. They are all high in soduim unless you make your own. Just remember, sodium will not make you gain weight.
  • Thanks you two. This is the response that I was looking for. I think that I have come pretty far with out them. I was thinking about doing something (Shakeology was one of them) but will all the junk that is out there it can get confusing on what is good for you and what is, well, junk. Think I'll stick to the all natural…
  • Do you really feel that taking all of those pills is helping your efforts? Or do you think that you would have the same results with out them and more $$ in your pocket? I have a hard time with all that junk. My goal is to live with out all the pills....
  • Onions are good for you. Low cal and fat I think that they have some sugar, but unless you're eating an onion a day I wouldn't really worry about it. I use them in almost every meal that I cook.
  • Take french bread, slice thin. You can toast if you want, I usually don't. Spread with light cream cheese Top with cucumber slices, paprika, and fresh dill.
  • I haven't used it, but I can pretty much guess that they are going to be a rip off. If you want to lower your body fat, eat right and exercise. If there were a magic pill, potion, or lotion for weight loss the government would have it. Not infomercials. Just sayin..... Good Luck. Steph :flowerforyou:
  • This too shall pass......damn! You'll be hungry. Just remember to eat healthy. Protein Fiber Water Good Fat, nuts, avocado. Good luck. Steph
  • I would suggest asking your doctor or physical therapist. Good luck to you.
  • Wear a pedometer. And then convert the steps into miles.
  • My food journal is open. I usually don't find myself hungry. (The past two weeks I haven't been able to work out so it might seem a little light.) Protein in the morning if you can. Lots of fiber. Lots of water. Chocolate - I buy a bag of dove dark chocolate. I let myself have one or two a day depending on the calories I…
  • Why not just change your eating to healthy foods and correct portion sizes?
  • I weigh in once a week. I log the change no matter if it's up or down. It keeps you accountable for your actions.
  • You're welcome. Just keep in mind that the foods that are loaded by members have the * in front of the food. The foods that the website admin entered don't have that and are more accurate than the foods entered by the members. (example is anything that is home made, you're usually good with name brand foods) So, for fruit,…
  • Make sure that you are eating protein and a lot of fiber! Try to cut out as much of the processed crap as you can. I know that will be hard with where you work but do what you can. You'll find the balance. Fiber up... And A LOT of water!
  • I love them too. But - I only eat them on rare occasions due to the high fat and calories. Good to spluge on them from time to time, but not every day like I use to.
  • I say TOTALLY WORRY ABOUT STARVATION MODE! Your body needs the calories to allow your body and all of your organs to function the correct way. That is why it is set at 1200. Try to add nuts to your diet. Protein. Avocado. A glass of milk. Cottage cheese. There are ways to get to the 1200 calories. Please read the past…
  • They are a rip off. But supportive shoes that are designed for what you are going to use them for. Walking, running, cross training. The shape ups will throw all of your joints out of whack and you'll end up hurting your self. There are other articles on here about them if you do the search feature. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY…
  • I would go with the lower amount. Unless you are using a heart rate monitor that is set for all of your info, the site and the machines are going to be off. Or do an average of the two.
