  • I'm a vegetarian and currently doing low carb so I don't know if my diary will be helpful but it is open to friends so feel free to add me. I am also looking to lose about 80 lbs over the next year.
  • I'm 39, 5'8" and have about 80-90 to lose. I'm on a year long journey to lose it by my birthday in June 2015. Would love some more friends for motivation. Anyone is welcome to add me.
  • I'm 38 and have lost about 20. Would like to lose 50-60 more. Anyone is welcome to add me.
  • I am a gluten-free vegetarian. Vegetarian for 17 years, recently cut out dairy but still eat eggs and honey. Gluten-free for 2 years. Trying to eat a more whole foods diet and cut the sugar and grains. Feel free to add me, I have a great vegan recipes I can point you to (some are in my recipe diary)
  • Gluten-free, mostly dairy-free, vegetarian
  • You mentioned you've lost sizes but the weight is staying the same. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less space. Sounds like you are gaining muscle and losing fat. Pay more attention to how you feel and how your clothes fit than the numbers on the scale. I also agree with what others have mentioned that…
  • I have a Wii also and enjoy the WiiFit but I REALLY love Just Dance 3 (and I've heard 4 is even better). I really enjoy the dancing and can't use the weather (too hot, too cold, too rainy) as an excuse since it's right in my living room.
  • Anyone is welcome to friend me as well. I've been struggling to lose for some time. One of the things that I've found that had helped keep me motivated the most is Diet Bet (http://www.dietbet.com). I do not benefit in anyway if you choose to join, I'm just passing along the link and info as it's been helping me. I'm…
  • Great job! HUGE difference. Keep it up!
  • Feel free to add me, also. I've lost 30 lbs over the last 3 years. I have about 50 to go.
  • I'm a vegetarian and I typically eat 2 - 4 whole eggs per day (and have been for years). My cholesterol is always between 140 - 150. As others have said, it is saturated fat that causes high blood cholesterol, not consuming cholesterol.
  • You don't need a measuring tape to take your measurements. You can use some non-stretchy string or ribbon and then use a ruler to measure the length. If you don't have a ruler, use a sheet of notebook paper (typically 8.5 inches x 11 inches) to add up each 11 inch section or just cut the string to the length of measure and…
  • I had a herniated disc 3 years ago. A chiropractor helped A LOT! (I couldn't walk for 3 weeks till he straightened me out). Saw him for about a year and healed to about 70% then I started seeing a DO (doctor of osteopathy) and he helped get me to about 90%. I still have pain now and then depending on my level of activity…
  • If you are on the website, click the 'Food' tab, if you are on the phone app, click the little icon that looks like a sheet of paper next to the home icon. The food diary is where you log what you eat each day. It is very helpful in tracking calorie intake and also carbs, protein, calcium, water.
  • I agree, why wait till Monday? Start now! Set your goals, record what you eat. Don't be hard on yourself if you mess up now and then, it's the long term that matters. Start off making small changes. A few days of accurately recording what I eat is usually enough to get me to see where I can start making changes to do…
  • I've been vegetarian for 16 years and gluten-free for over a year. This is my favorite recipe. It is vegan and gluten-free. Everyone I've made it for (meat eaters and non-gluten-free friends) absolutely love it, too. I usually serve it over jasmine rice or quinoa. African Sweet Potato and Peanut Stew 1 Tablespoon extra…
  • I'm Jen. I'm 37, 5'8". Highest weight: 238 Current weight: 213.5 Goal Weight: 150
  • Protein is found in most plants. If you eat a variety of vegetables and fruits, you will get plenty of protein without having to think about it.
  • I've been a vegetarian for 16 years, gluten-free for a year, and currently trying to transition to more (maybe fully) vegan. Feel free to friend me, I have some good recipes and am always looking for new ones!
  • Hi, Bunny. I'll add you as a friend, we can encourage each other!
