I just finished the beginner exercises for today - wow that was tough! I did 3.5 miles on the eliptical today, does that count?

Okay, I can do this. I have never told anyone my weight before, ever. My starting weight is 238.4 lbs. In December of 2011 I got down to 199 lbs, and over the next 6 months I put it all back on, plus 10 lbs. I WILL be 136 lbs by December 31, 2013, NO EXCUSES!!! I'm here to ROCK this challenge and help everyone else do the…

I quit 12 years ago with hypsosis. It worked wonders and now the smell makes me feel sick. Never quit quitting, you will get there.

I think the changes you have made to allow yourself to reach this goal are the tools to the rest of your life. My husband always tells me its not what you ate during a bad day or the week you only exercised 3 times, but it's the fact that you have no intention to stop exercising or trying your best to eat healthy - that is…

So inspiring! You look so happy and healthy now! Congratulations!!!

I quit in 2000 after smoking 1/2 a pack per day for 10 years. I tried several things, and learned to never quit quitting! I succeded with hypnotism. I don't have any cravings - ever and the smell makes me sick to my stomach. The thing that made sense to me was he asked me if I would go into a burning building so I could…

I started on Friday and my husband started Sunday. I would love to have a support system or tracking system that pushed us and motivated us to finish to day 90.

I started on January 6th! Finished day 4 today.

I finished day 3 today - it is hard, but I love it! I feel silly now for being so scared of it. I thought the hour would kill me but it goes by so quickly it really is surprising. I was pretty sore the second day, but it's cleared up and didn't effect day 3 today. I know I can do the 90 days, and can't wait to see what…

Thank you everyone for the encouragement, it really does make a difference. I planned to start a couple days ago but came down with a cold. I'm feeling more like myself today so I am going to start in the morning. I am excited and scared at the same time!

I have all 3 and I tend to use the elliptical the most. The bike hurts my butt, I don't like that. The treadmill is fantastic, but my knees get sore if I run on it. The elliptical I have no complaints. I started off using it for 10 minutes a day as that was all I could do, now I do 60 a day - and I love it!
-
You should be so proud of yourself!!! You are doing amazing!

I get capsules from the health food store called L-Lysine. They are 1000mg. Take 2 right away when you feel one starting and one a day until it's gone. If you catch it right away it will never come out.

I love that you have shared your story, because it's real. And I am greatly sorry for the hurt that you suffer, and greatly inspired by your reaction to your pain. I believe it is often our nature not to act until something bad happens, mine came as health issues. I had regular screening done for our life insurance that we…

My knee is still swollen and hurting, but I did 20 minutes on the elliptical last night and it was okay with that. A friend on MFP says she does the C25K on the elliptical - I'm wondering if I should continue on there??? I wouldn't be able to enter a speed though, but do you guys think that would work?

Been there, done that, still kicking my butt!!! LOL Just remember one day here and there is not a big deal. You didn't fail cause you slacked for a day - or even five! You only fail if you stop trying. One foot in front of the other and your off again, that's all it takes - You can do it!
