Hello, I'm new to this thread. We all have a back story.... so here are my challenges. I've lost 50... twice. Now for the third time, here we go again. This weight gain was accompanied by "illness". I'm not really sick, but yet not well. I have a rare inner ear issue that left me with increasing dizziness, hearing loss…

I have been gaining instead of losing. I think some accountability would really help get me back on track. Pls feel free to add me...

Yes. I went into desktop. Completely broke the connection from both sides. That is both programs and then re initiated the link from MFP. It works BEAUTIFULLY now.

I get no data going to or from either Garmin or MFP. I have attempted to link them multiple times initiating from either of the programs. I have initiated from set step tracker from MFP, it takes me to Garmin with no direction what to do when dumped into the Garmin webpage. These attempts have been spaced out over a week…

Oh dear. Seems the other thing I can't do is figure out how to friend someone from this page. I need remedial assist. :s

I would love to be held accountable. It seems that I can not lose my last 15. I have done the ultra impossible and gotten a beagle to lose weight without actual Armageddon happening first, but me....nnnooooooo. Not so much. Oh, and I only stalk food. That being the issue. :(

I'm 47 and have been running for about 5 years this spring. It took me 8+ months to go from couch to 5k. I barely made it. Now I run 15k distances and am looking toward running as far as a half. That is my max as I have been very injury prone and it is enough to make me happy that I do that much!

Hi all. I'm 47. In the last 10 years I've gained and lost 50 lbs -twice. Now I stopped it at 20 and am stuck at 10 left to lose. Support and friends who struggle would be fabulous! My Hubby is on MFP, but he is a machine. He lost 90 and never seems to have an issue. Sounds like some of you would understand my difficulties…

Any of the taped workouts are adaptable to self. If you do T25, which I have a few times, you can reduce the reps and speed. You can pause when you need to and let Shawn keep going. You will get so you can keep up more and more as your body is able. I have had shoulder reconstruction and I NEVER do all the burpees. It is…

Look up the Tracer 360. It is lightweight and the WHOLE thing lights up. All these products that say 360 reflective only work when the headlights hit you. THIS IS A LIGHT. The whole thing is a light. The difference in when I know that cars see me when I run in the dark with it vs anything else is amazing.

There is one by B1Basis, there is one by TomTom. There are now some by Garmin both with and without GPS. Keep looking!

I also found that if you put privacy on any aspect of your Garmin, your data does not accrue to challenges. :(

I have found that Garmin and MFP work together only, and only if there are NO other app links in place. I had to check on both the desktop programs and the smart phone programs. Believe it or not, they were different. Once both programs only reflected each other, it worked. -and it was just since Friday that I did this.

Surge is NOT waterproof. I love mine, but I have to be SO careful with it even with sweat. It fogged up the face just running a 7 mile run on a dry day. Had to put it in rice for a while. Have you looked at Garmin? They have a number of GPS watches with steps tracking and at least one has HR in the wrist band. They Have a…

Sometimes the most critical people are just jealous. (That you even try, that you might succeed, etc Maybe they want to change something about themselves and are too afraid to even try.) That said, there are excellent body weight exercises you can do. Look up via google. If you can find a workout buddy, or go to a…

Wow, beautifully illustrated. Who is the musician?

Long run day!

I'm new, but I'd like to join! I'm setting a 60 miles of running goal.

You can add me, I change around a bit, but stick to 1200-1500 which covers when I need to lose a little (like now after vacation) and when I am in maintenance mode. I don't eat much of my exercise calories, my metabolism doesn't allow it.

Over time, I have learned to like my coffee black. I can even enjoy an Americano black now. I agree with hmoberly. Real sugar and real products are... Real. While I am new to the clean eating thing, I thought that part of the point was to keep it real. So, yeah. Not a lot of sugar, salt, dairy, However when I have it, I…

I have been lifting for a little over a year. I lift somewhat heavy, and am building up slowly due to some shoulder issues. Feel free to friend me!

Sigh. So frustrating. Good luck with your plan "B"!!
