I feel trapped

I used to think the same way when I was younger. My mother still tries to control me by telling me how embarrassing I'll look or how others will scrutinize me. I can't tell you how liberating it is to be stubborn enough to do it anyway. It'll be really difficult in such close quarters, but the best thing you can do for yourself is grow a thicker skin.
You exercising is about making yourself a healthier person. Whether or not you lose weight doesn't make it a success or failure. The act of bettering yourself is incredibly admirable, especially when its outside your comfort zone. If your family can't see that, its a shame, but its no reason not to do it.
I think that's a great point about just being stubborn about what is the right decision to become healthy.
And if you manage to sort out a space for you in your room, there is fitnessblender whcih is pretty much free, unless you buy there programs- and even then they are not expensive.

Sometimes the most critical people are just jealous. (That you even try, that you might succeed, etc Maybe they want to change something about themselves and are too afraid to even try.) That said, there are excellent body weight exercises you can do. Look up via google. If you can find a workout buddy, or go to a playground or some of the other suggested places, you might start with them. Once you have had some success, you may feel more comfortable at home or with speaking up for the $10/month for the gym. You will also have gotten somethings to do at the gym down pat so you will be more comfortable there as well.0

If you're looking for cheap strength training, I highly recommend the "You are your own gym" program. He has an app that's like $3, but its well worth it. This is something you could do in your bedroom or in the basement or something.
As far as your family goes, ignore the haters. I know it's easier said than done, but just do what you need to do. Your results will prove them wrong.0 -
Update: Last night I told my dad I wanted to clean out space in the garage so I can have a place to exercise. He countered with "what if we get the weight bench out of your room? Would that free up some space?" (My brother put a weight bench in there as soon as I went to college. I know it could come in handy but with the position it's in right now, it's not really useable anyway). I told him that'd be awesome. I don't know if it'll happen, but we'll see!
Thank you everyone for the supportive responses! I do have a park with a playground right at the end of my street so I should look up some exercises to do there. As for stairs/bleachers, there's a locked fence around our high school bleachers and I can't think of any good stairs, but I'll keep an eye out for a good place.0
