  • I switched in March after being on WW for four years and was a bit dubious- a case of better the devil you know! I did lose my initial 2 stone on WW but i found it more restrictive and realised this was easier to monitor nutrients such a sodium levels and carbs than WW. Its good to have the friends status update like…
  • Hey feel free to add me! This time round you can do it and keep it off :)
  • In your gut you already knew it was a problem and did the right thing by reaching out about it. I think anyone can get sucked in by all the numbers etc and having the CONTROL of being able to use number and it have physical and life changing results that we initially enjoy. It is not healthy and eventually will become a…
  • This is hilarious!
  • as a man said yesterday on here see http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/354663-dispelling-the-water-myths all drinks count towards water (decaff or not). You don't suddenly add a tea bag to water and it becomes something else it is just water with tea in it. Read the link its really useful.
  • Just adding on to your myths- A world leading dermatologist (Dr Howard Murad) also said on a UK TV programme yesterday that drinking lots of water (as most people bang on about) gets rid of water in the body e.g water retention etc, but can also have a negative effect on the skin causing it have less of a natural glow.…
  • I was the same as you and would now recommend upping them from my own experience! I visited http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ and entered in all my details and below it tells you how many calories to consume a day based on daily activity. Mine said 1700 however MFP was telling me 1200- I went somewhere in the middle,…
  • What everyone is saying if right. Wouldn't you rather your clothes are loose= you LOOK like yo have lost weight i.e your size/shape has changed as opposed to the scale says you have lost weight but your clothes feel the same no inches lost= you LOOK NO DIFFERENT. TOTM seems to affect most women in the same way. Every month…
  • I was like you for so long, so i know your pain and i read this self help book which has really helped me. It said you have to LOVE a thinner/healthier image of yourself more than you HATE the fatter/unhealthier image of yourself in order to truly lose weight and keep it off. -Just a thought that really has helped me when…
  • I have also always suffered with this and my body feel out of proportion-waist 28inch and hips- 40 inch! Can anyone tell me how to d lunges etc??
  • The same thing happens to me every month. I gain approx 3-7lbs a week before TOTM and it comes off as soon s i finish. I think it is water retention. =)
  • Thanks for all you help!! =)
  • Bright red blood is usually haemorrhoids or a fissure (cut) dark blood or even black tarry stools are what you should be really nervous of however SEE a PROFESSIONAL!
  • After seeing something posted on here about estimating things rather than being accurate can potentially make you go over on calories by a substantial amount a week. I would weigh the cereal and the pack should tell you how much in calories or if not search on here through the database e.g 40g = 120cals and 125ml skimmed…
  • Omg this happened to me this week. I weighed 3lbs heavier even tho had exercised and eaten carefully logging everything properly. I also measure and my stomach has gone up by an inch. If poop and water/food can add so much weight then how do you know when a weight loss is a real loss?
  • Approx 1350 depending on your age. Hope that helps. What activity level have you put yourself under? =)
  • I am also a UK size 11! No matter how much weight i am losing, the next size down never fits and when i look in the mirror i look no different- it's so frustrating.
  • I use it on the PS3 and it is brilliant. I have been doing beginner 20 mins and at 1st i couldn't keep up but it's addictive and I can do most of the moves now. I put it in the calorie burn as similar to 'dancing' for on here and saved it as zumba ps3 as there was no zumba exercise currently on here. =)

  • Hey i always gain 3-7lbs literally the week before i'm due and I literally look much bigger too. My clothes are tighter etc and I don't go over on calories etc. However the weigh in after my P i'm back to normal and clothes fit nicely. So don't worry about it, perhaps just don't weigh in around your monthly. It doesn't…

  • Ouestion of the Day: 6/21 What would your dream vacation be? My dream holiday (vacation) would be to New York shopping and sightseeing for 5 days. Florida to the theme/water parks 2 weeks and then Huvafen Fushi, Maldives for 3 weeks with my boy/f. It is like pure paradise with your own hut. =)
  • I have begun doing Zumba (only on the PS3) and am aiming to do at least 2 classes/sessions a week =)

  • this may help http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2010/12/08/the-myth-behind-drinking-8-glasses-of-water-a-day/ =)
  • I was speaking about this with a highly experienced family friend who is a Dr and studied this. He said drink what s best for you! i said to him what do you mean by that? You are supposed to drink half your weight in water blah blah blah. He said if that is what your body is telling you to do then do it however this is…
  • FRIDAY Question of the day: Is anyone nearly at their all time goal or even mini goal and if so how are you coping with the changes your body/life are going through?
  • Wow Chase you rock! u have been an excellent buddy! =)
  • QUESTION OF THE DAY, Thursday June 2nd: Inspiration: I am totally inspired by people who have made the decision to lose weight in a healthy way not through starving themselves and pretending they don't try lol. My biggest inspiration are all the real people on here who tell of their struggles with their weight and are…
