Had a really quick look through your diary. m no expert, just making suggestions based on y own experience before people start with all the slating! Have you tried reducing sugar or carb intake? All the best =)

Hey so now i am netting 1710 cal at activity level Sedentary as i have a pretty accurate 'Fitbit Ultra' which automatically syncs any of my exercise cals to MFP. I was on 1360 with MFP originally :D
-
Ok so i used http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ and followed their recommended daily intake. they advise you eat like you would at your goal weight so i entered in an interim goal weight of 150lbs as my current and goal weight so that it calculated as if i was maintaining at that level and guess what, it was 350cal…

You have done an absolutely amazing job!
-
This was lovely and written so well. Good for you!

[/quote] Yes try this! I hit a 2month plateau and upped my cals by 300 a day which seemed really odd and it is working slowly but surely. For the first couple of weeks i gained weight which you have to be prepared for and then it just started dropping off. Give it a go.
-
So i upped my cals to 1630 per day and the scales are finally budging. It is only a tiny loss but it is moving in the right direction! I am also taking weekly photos and measurements of myself so I can celebrate NSV too. :)

bump for later :)
-
I'm in ( one day late)!
-
I also feel your pain. I gain a whopping 5-7lbs EVERY TOTM and do look noticeably bigger and it usually goes the following week- due to water retention. You are doing amazing as you have managed a loss so well done!!
-
Thanks :)
-
My calorie goal is 1300. I am eating most of my exercise calories back but not all of them as they sometimes seem a little high on here compared to other calculations.
-
How is the sodium intake going? I'm keeping an eye on mine but it always seems to be way under. I am also drinking at least 2ltr of mineral water a day.
-
Thank you :)
-
Thanks guys!! Every single one of you has motivated me. I think I will fake patience and hide those damn scales. Do any of you take regular photos so you can see your progress? Thanks you :)

By peoples replies it is obvious that body shape seems to prevail (yes i know i am stating the obvious it's just confirmation of that). I am a pear shape and i lose from my stomach and chest 1st and thighs and bottom last which is unfortunate for me as i have african heritage all over my butt!

I recently bought a Human Kinetics book by Irene l=Lewis-McCormick, it is brilliant for beginners and teacher you so much more than others plus it tells you the way to do Strength Training at home with free weights. :)
-
I want to be fit! I am currently not losing pounds just getting fitter and gaining strength. I do not want to be a 'Fat Thin' person (yes they do exist).
-
You look amazing! Well done to you.
-
All i can say is WOWWWW!!
-
Woah your results are inspirational. It makes me realise I really CAN do it!!

Had Mirena installed 14/5/12, the installation was agony and so was the 1st week as i ended up hospitalised due to it getting infected within the 1st two days! I do agree with others that you cannot spot reduce HOWEVER, i suffer with a lot of bloating and stomach fat and I have tried Dukan diet and after 3 days on the no carb high protein i felt amazing and my stomach was flat. I now only do the no carb and high protein 1 day/2 days a week and the rest of the week I follow a…

^^I totally agree!

Your body overall calories/weight loss works more weekly-monthly rather than hour by hour. So the answer is it wont matter at all, as long as your not skipping meals. I do it all the time :)

I have found myself in situations with certain people who are supposed to care about you saying things that i have found discouraging and offensive like your situation i was unsure if i was being to sensitive or not. As I myself would not say that to someone. As someone else pointed out though, she probably was just…
