Just be consistent. If you have been at that weight for a long time you are trying to push your body somewhere it does not want to go. So you have to really dial it in for 2-3 weeks to get it started. It will get easier after that! Good luck on your journey!

Just document everything for 2weeks. After that try to drop300-500 calories a week. Simple workouts. Start out walking. Diet is the key. I would not worry about what you eat just document for the first couple weeks! You can do it

The new asylum workout is basically a hybrid program. Really good! If not that, I think your hybrid program would work well. I think the variation is good!

I love Monster too. I also like rooster booster lite from QT, but it is not much better on the health scale! I have no answer.

Chocolate milk and Dymatize Protein, or use skim in stead and throw in a banana or other fruit for simple sugar and you have a perfect recovery drink. (grape juice and whey would have the same effect, but the taste may not be too good) Good Luck on the Marathon! Finishing is one of the best feelings of accomplishment you…

Go by feel and the mirror. Start at 1700 over 5 meals a day. Frequency is very important. If you feel you are dragging then add 100 cals. You should see changes by week 3 for sure. Good luck. It is awesome when it's over

Totally Right! Good Explanation

Awesome Job! Way to go

I am trying to loose about 2lbs a week. If that is what you are thinking I am all in. Good Luck Jarrod

I agree 1500 or so and break it over small meals. Look at yourself in the mirror after you get out of the shower in 2weeks, if you like it then stay the course, if not then drop 100 calories and use the mirror test again. Much better than a scale!
-
MAJOR change. Awesome Job. Keep up the hard work!
-
So what do you think the best way to determine caloric intake needed?
-
ThinK more consistency than total number for an week. That being said don't sweat one day too much!
-
Good Luck!

Good luck! You can do it.

Fantastic job!

P90x is awesome! Just don't get frustrated at first. It takes a few weeks to get in the groove, but it works like nothing else does.

It is the "super dumb victories" that keep us all going. Good job!

Runners world had a routine that only had you run 3 times a week. It was great because you could train without overtraining. Great for first timers. I used it for a marathon it was great! Just search their site I am sure you will find it. Have fun!
