Hello there. I used to have the same problem. I invested in a heart rate monitor ($80-$100) polar watch and it tells you exactly how many calories you are burning. HIIT classes are awesome! really give you a great workout!

I make whole wheat pasta with ground turkey for the family. My husband and the kids all enjoy it. I usually make a green salad or oven roasted veggies to go with it for my husband and I. Good luck, i know it can get hard but you sound like you're doing a great job!

At home we order Chinese probably once a week on the days that mommy is too tired to cook. We get the steamed chicken and mixed vegetables. (sauce on side...if any) and steamed vegetable dumplings. So yummy, filling, and low in calories. No RICE. Even the plain white one.

Hi! I'm currently doing RI30 I'm about to start my second week. Even though its only 30 minutes. Its tough. But a good tough. I also started her 6 week ABS yesterday. Also, tough. The ABS DVD has 2 levels and about 35 min long each. Best of luck

The scale is my enemy. Instead this week I noticed that 2 pairs of jeans that didnt go up a couple of weeks ago actually fit me loose AND people have noticed the change. don't go crazy with those numbers. THey dont always show all of your hard work! :) good luck

First off congrats on taking the initiative on working out again. I work at a desk all day and I printed out 2 quoutes and posted them where I can see them. I also printed out a picture of myself pre-babies. This really motivates me to get to the gym and make healthier choices. Best of luck to you :)

I always feel "guilty" about taking time away from my 2 kids if I were to go after work. But sometimes we need to sacrifice some of the time and think of ourselves first. I'm in! I need this push. CW: 181.5 Goal: 170.0 My fitness plan will be exercising 5x/week. Combination of Cardio/Weight training classes. Going to take advantage of the nice weather we're getting in NY this week and walking home from the train station. It's about a 35 minute powerwalk. Good luck to everyone!
