  • It was a tankini, but hey - I wouldn't have been caught dead in one a year ago! A whole lot of body acceptance has happened over the last 6 months, and that's what I'm celebrating!

  • Just wanted to let folks know: I not only wore my goal outfit this past week (something I couldn't fit over my hips) BUT I wore a 2 piece bathing suit too

  • Is he overweight by any chance? One of my friends had a roommate who would do this same sort of thing to her...we finally figured out it was because she was jealous. I'd stop making special meals for everyone else. Your kids might complain a little, but you're their Mom, they have to listen to you, as for dear husband,…
  • So I was craving a Big Mac pretty bad, then I saw the 'Mac Snack Wrap' advertised today and couldn't get it out of my mind, so I caved. When I got home, what do you know - only 350 calories for something that tastes like a Big Mac! I never thought I'd be able to enjoy the taste of one again, but 350 calories is definitely…
  • I have a similar problem: my digital scale is usually 2lbs heavier than my trainer's non digital, but very accurate scale. Sometimes my scale is 2 lbs less. I paid about $50 Cdn for it 3 years ago...maybe it is just not accurate because it's cheap?
  • And you can pass it back and forth between your partner and yourself. I had one that kept recurring and it wasn't until the doctor asked about us using protection and explained that we were passing it back and forth. Protection for both during sex, and whatever you doctor prescribes will clear it up in a couple of days!

  • I like making Jello salads...there are tons of different kinds that have very few calories, and they still get rid of the sweet craving, sometimes the right recipe can get rid of crunchy too!
  • I used the dry fry method last night - before I saw this thread! I just decided on a whim to buy tofu and see if I could cook it myself. I worked at a summer camp once where the cook served tofu with the staff favorite: HP Sauce! It was great, I loved it served that way. After trying the dry fry method, I think that is the…

  • You could try some pro wrap. (Do they have that in the US?) It is supposed to be good for chaffing and blisters - among many other uses!
  • I don't officially weigh in at my gym until Friday, but my guesstimate is that I'm down by 1 lb, based on my not as accurate scale at home.
  • I think I figured out a solution. I wanted to reward myself after the gym, I was going to buy a new CD and then beside the CDs I saw these cards. They have a pin number on them that you enter to get your mp3s. This way I don't have to join some monthly club, nor will I get carried away and purchase more than I had planned.…

  • I've been up and to work and back already! Headed to the gym early this evening...
  • I went hiking with my love yesterday...and I got in 5 glasses of water  I struggle with the water, so it was a good day!
  • Can you post exactly what the challenge is? Otherwise I'll be confused. :blushing:
  • Hope you're allowed to be on 2 teams...cause how can I not be on the Canadian one! I'm at 190 today...planning on being 180 on April 1st.
  • Haha! I love the name of this group! My weight today is 190 My goal is to be 180 by April 1st (and maybe to fit into my smallest pair of "someday I'll fit into these" jeans!) I also want to work on increasing my water.
  • WooHoo! I'm from Nova Scotia too
  • This is an ingenious idea. I will be trying it soon!
  • If there is a YMCA or YWCA in your town and you can't afford a gym, they can be very accommodating. Also some gyms will give you your membership free if you volunteer for them. If you really would sooner go to the gym, then I think you should go and talk to someone at your local gym...there might be a creative solution!
  • Cabbage rolls
  • I totally understand! I live in Nova Scotia (similar weather to New England) sometimes I don't see sun for 2 weeks! I find it easier in the summer, cause I love camping and will camp in the rain! But winter is different I love winter sports, but it rains so often here that unless you seize that one perfect moment (which is…

  • Bumping again :) I still want to know
  • Does anyone have any tips/ides for tuna steak? I bought 2 and now I'm wondering what to do with them!
  • Hi All I seem to do fine meeting my daily goals in everything but sugar. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep my sugar count a little lower? Or should I even worry about it? Thanks.
  • I've been on beta blockers for a while now. I do find it hard to lose weight, but that could for many reasons. The biggest thing I don't like about beta blockers is that I can't eat grapefruit. I love grapefruit. I'm hopeful that I'll eventually get off them though
