i say never skip breakfast, start your day with something small.. around 200-300 cals.. it sets the pace for the rest of your day, start light.. finish light!!

I think you have enough time.. My first 5k was in March 17th, I then began training for my first half marathon which was in May 5... so it's doable. FYI.. I was 27, roughly 165lbs.. Good luck to ya!

you still get a distance reading right? you can take your time and figure out your pace.

6.5mph is walking for you?! that's amazing! uhhh.. well on my runs, according to my GPS watch, the incline of the course doesn't effect the calories burnt.. its all distance. so just take your speed and time and put that in the app.. probably as running, since that's a running pace for most.

Walmart has the 'starter' brand, their stuff seems really decent for the money. I haven't checked out their long sleeve stuff yet though.

i weigh myself every day. but only enter the number into MFP on fridays, thats my "official" weigh-in day where I have this little ritual where i fast for 12hrs prior to try and get the most consistent numbers i can.. i don't really know if it works but it makes me feel better lol

I've noticed my scale that measures BF% is very dependent on fluid level, the more water I drink the more fat it thinks I have.. so i'm trying a new thing, fasting for 12 hours before each weigh in (Fridays for me). That should give consistent results.. just an idea. I could be way off lol my scale:…
