OP and there you have it.... hope this answered your question. LOL

RGv2, I would agree, but why? What changed in my appetite that after eliminating sugar and flour from my diet that allowed me to eat whatever and whenever I wanted at a deficit without any effort, to only begin overeating again when I decided to add processed foods (bread, sugar, etc.) back into my diet? Why now for the…

Christianwife, very bold to presume her husband is fat due to eating to much and not exercising. I hope you are not making these statements of fact over the internet based on a few sentences posted by his wife without so much as even knowing his name. This is why these forums are mostly bad advice and full of personal…

I went without sugar for a year and dropped weight consistently until I had lost about 65 pounds. As soon as I started adding sugar back into my diet I gained it all back. Bottom line sugar has no nutritional value, it is not needed for any reason and provides nothing but empty calories. Not sure why so many people are pro…

BrainyBurro (smartass) the answer to your question is yes. I tracked my calories and exercised based on the calories in and calories out theory and got nowhere fast. For me being carbohydrate sensitive made eating even so called healthy carbs was a challenge. I was hungry and always craving food. My willpower no matter how…

For several weeks I was having stiffness, pain and weakness in my knee causing me to limp around for a bit. I heard for every pound of weight you lost you'd take 4 lbs of pressure off your joint. Now that I have lost 23 pounds and the about 100 pounds of pressure off my knee I no longer have the issue. I am sure taking off…

Having switched to LCHF 4 months ago and keeping my daily carbs at 25 or fewer each day and losing 23 to date I can say I am more inclined to believe for some people dealing with an intolerance to carbs there is something to be said about his viewpoint. You can say what you like as to his motives however selling books or…

Look into a ketogenic diet you can up the fat to around 70 to 80% lower the protein to about 25 and the balance in carbs. You will find you will not be hungry and you will feel awesome!

I have several sizes to go down before I reach my goal and I am sick to death of wearing the old stuff and needed to find how I could look nice but not waste money going down in sizes. I discovered an online clothes rental business for plus sized girls that goes from size 10 to size 32. You can pick from 3 garments to 10…

I have had excellent turkey done in a slow cooker. I agree with the non-nukers. Yuk.

I hear you. I am kinda new too. I am back after a while but I am well on track now after about a month and a half. Be happy to be there for support if and when you need it. Cheers,

GORGEOUS! I am always amazed at how much a difference losing weight makes to a person's facial features. You should be so very proud. You have put in the effort and it shows. Congratulations!

Sadly, that is why most people that lose weight end up gaining it all back plus a few pounds. If you eat like you used to eat you will weigh what you once weighed. I would go to very low carbs and increase your fat so you don't end up with the carb cravings that will derail all your hard earned progress. Best of luck to…

I like the paisley one. I don't know what your coloring is, but if it works with your skin and hair color it would be stunning.

I can totally relate. I have a scale that needs batteries. I took the batteries out of it and it makes it less handy to have to put them in and re-calibrate it. I started LCHF 6 weeks ago and decided only to weigh in every three months and do the measurements every month. I know that the scale will mess with my head. I…

You all should be sooo proud! Awesome!

I am in the camp a 10 year old is too young for the need of a smartphone. I also agree it was inappropriate to involve the child. This is the first generation of young children to be raised with ready access to the internet, facebook, texting, etc. I have to wonder how it will affect the world as a result.

Carefully check if using autocorrect. The President of our company went by Stu (short for Stewart), in my response to one of his emails I was shocked to see autocorrect changed his name to Stud. .:blushing:

Instead of holding yourself to any caloric limits or exercise goals commit to just tracking for a week. Once that becomes part of the routine focus on improvements. Not perfection just improvements. I'll bet you will be back in control in no time. Don't quit!

As to your question, I would just do a search for vegetable juice blends, or green smothies. The recipes are easy to find.
-
As someone else mentioned, get a good juicer and add vegetables blended with apples and other fruits blends. You taste the sweet and don't really know what else has been added. Carrots, beets, and other vegetables also add sweetness to vegetable drinks. No excuse to not have your vegetables!

I am not a Doctor but I had a problem very similar to that and it turned out I had a herniated disc in my lower back. The pain was in my lower buttock and went down my leg. If it doesn't get better you will likely need medical help. It tooks months for me to stop having pain. You might have injured yourself in any number…

I don't know when you started but I had a 4 weeks stretch my second month and seemed to be stuck on one number. I just kept at it and ignored the scale and didn't change anything. In the 5th week it started coming off again. When I went back and averaged how much weight I had lost and divided it by the weeks since I…

Uh, no. If that was my problem I wouldn't be trying to lose weight, Ha.

Time to lower the one on the State ID. Congrats, that is a great NSV!

Six or Seven years ago I read an article about hoodia in the Readers Digest, I had to order them which took about a week to come. Story made short they did absolutley nothing! No reduction of appetite in the slightest. I have later read that unless you are getting a true quality source like the actual Hoodia plant they are…

I agree with this!!!!

You are so pretty, both before and after. You can really see how much you have slimmed down. Congrats for all your hard work.

A 13 yo Long-haired tuxedo named Gordon. Gordon carries around a little stuffed red devil doll when he is left alone (or thinks he is left alone) like a security blanket. An 8 yo silver tabby named Freeway. Freeway was found on the side of a highway of course when he was just a kitten. He is pure devil without the doll.

This is exactly why I don't plan cheat days!
