Remember your goals – and set new ones! What do you still want to achieve? Do you want to keep losing or just maintain? And come up with a new plan... one you can stick with. Message me if you want a hand!

This. I have an FT4 and the Fitbit Flex, and although it looks ridiculous, I just wear both during workouts!

My first 3.5-mile race is tomorrow. Bump for reference at home and for the future.

Thank you. It's actually feeling better as the day goes on, which gives me some hope. I know I didn't do anything super bad to it, I've had tears and sprains before and it doesn't feel anything like that... just a little "off," I guess. I'm going to pick up a brace tonight for the just-in-case scenario and take the race…

The best you can do is estimate, which you're already doing, unless you get a heart rate monitor with a chest strap. It will tell you exactly how long you worked out for and how much you burned. I love my Polar FT4; I got it on Amazon for around $50 and I use it whenever I work out.

I loved Hip Hop Abs! I did the program to Rx (I also drank Shakeology; I'm a Beachbody Coach, but I'm not trying to sell you anything, just offering a full disclaimer on what I did) and lost 11 inches. I do agree that doing the program as prescribed can get boring. I was so sick of one of the videos (Ab Sculpt, I think) by…

Bump... I could really use some advice.

I actually use a Heart Rate Monitor (the Polar FT4) to get an exact calorie count. I found that MFP's estimates were often too far off for me to use them successfully.
-
Haha totally not creepy! Thank you!
-
I drink it almost every day and have for about three months now!

Bump for reference when I get my FitBit Flex next month.

Tomorrow is Week 6 Day 2 for me! It's been a great program. Running a 3.5-mile race June 20!

This is how I found the love of my life. Wasn't even looking, really, but I was happy and confident and it fell into place. It's the best thing you can do--focus on yourself, your interests, your passions. Happiness and fulfillment are attractive.

Today is Week 5 Day 2 for me! 8-minute intervals, woo. Looking forward to it.

I agree with what others have said. I leave the house at 7AM, get to work by 8:15, eat lunch at my desk, leave work at 5:45, get home at 7, and then am ready to pass out by 10:30–11. It leaves me about 3–4 hours to do everything: work out, have dinner, spend time with my family and pets, do housework and chores, etc. I'm…

I really appreciate that, and I understand your (and other posters') frustration with my original post, considering I had a giant gap in my knowledge! I'll work on the simple changes, up my cals to 1710, and stop eating back exercise cals. Fingers crossed! Thank you!

No worries, no offense taken. It's more that I've been logging my food for over 155 days – I'm very accustomed to eating the way I eat now. And honestly, I got here more by lack of exercise than by eating... it was far easier to get my eating under control than to start exercising consistently (I'm still working on that…

Thanks all! You've helped a lot.

Yes – thank you. So that would be 1928 for moderate or 1710 for light. It still seems high to me.

Hmm... I figured that since C25K is for a set amount of time (I listen to a podcast that tells me when to walk, jog, etc. and each episode is ~30 min) I should get as much burn in as I can! Ha. But I understand what you mean.
-
I'm also 25 and not really overweight, and today is Week 2 Day 2 of C25K for me. I noticed that Week 2 is definitely harder than Week 1 when I went out on Monday, but I'm looking forward to tonight. I've had to slow myself down because I get so caught up in the idea of pushing myself and burning as many calories as I…

Public transportation is another place (besides the gym) that I don't like being hit on, because there's no easy escape when you're on a subway.
-
All the time, I just bounce around the house going, "you got it, you look good, you feel good, you're gettin' abs!" Shaun T is the greatest. Insanity is on my to-do list!
-
I loved Hip-Hop Abs, though I found doing the program as described a little boring sometimes. I'd switch it up on a second run-through! Thanks again, all!
-
Thank you!

THIS is how people log sex? Noted. And noted again.
-
This is the best advice I've seen on this subject. Turn the negative into a positive! Be proud of your control!
-
My BB order went fine! Sorry to hear about your experience, though. I did find their ordering system terribly confusing and cumbersome.
-
I'm 25--add me if you like!
-
Thank you – that helps a lot.
