If Dad already has the PS3 with move I would suggest getting that. I'm sure Sony will have PS3 with move bundles. It has awesome capabilities. I love loading special family photos to show friends. The blue ray player is also nice. The PS3 is very versatile and I found the user interface easier to use. I actually sold my…

Do you already have children? Do you plan to have children in the future? If you plan to have kids and haven't had any yet, I wouldn't recommend a tattoo in that area. It has a high likely hood of stretching, distortion and scarring.

^--- This. Sleep. Rest. Get better. Continue when you are well. There are BAD THINGS you can do to yourself if you workout when very sick. Take care of your lungs. You only have one set! Your immune system is telling you something. Listen to it. Get better. Feel better. Then continue.

oh god yes. I see something and I feel like a baby with the whole "must stick that in my mouth" idea. It's getting easier, just make sure you have the things you usually crave in healthier options. I crave salty things, so I found these pillars turkey bites. 50 calories per stick. They taste just like an unhealthy…

If you are interested in them, ask your Dr. It's important to make sure it is safe for you to take them before you make a decision. Drugs are awesome, but can be bad when taken incorrectly or with other medications that may interact. For example, taking Tylenol and drinking a few beers = very... very.. bad and not many…

If you are really struggling with what you should eat, maybe you could get a referral to a Registered Dietician. They will ask you to keep a detailed food log (which you do anyway) and analyze it to make sure you are getting what your body needs and suggest the best and healthiest way to reduce your intake. It would be…

Thanks for explaining it to me everyone, it's an awesome help. I will readjust the calories back down to 1320. p.s. Don't look at my diary for today, I ate awful! LOL

1470. Stay at home mom of a one year old. It was set to 1300, but my Dr. recommended I increase it else I may get exhausted and not loose any weight. It's important to make sure you are eating enough else you will just set yourself up to go into starvation mode and loose nothing.

I don't have a recipe.. but I make an awesome stuffed pepper with ground turkey. Put the oven to 350 Get a frying pan and put in a tablespoon of canola or olive oil. Get the oil hot. Put in a chopped onion, some celery, carrots, zuchini, garlic and pepper, mushrooms or whatever you've got in your fridge. Cook until crisp…

Hey there! I bought one that was returned. It sucked. So I searched the forums here and read a lot of good things about the polar FT4. I LOVE it. It was easy to set up, the band is comfy and it stays in place. The HR was accurate. My sister is a paramedic and I had her check my pulse for me. It reads the electricity of…

You really don't want to open this can of worms with me. My daughter is only a year old and has had three open heart surgeries, has been "dead" four times and is lucky to be alive. She has had almost every pain killer, ppi, anti naseuant, heart med, 40 some blood transfusions, all sorts of vaccines (the ones she is…

WAIT! I WAS WRONG Based on your reasoning, we should never give our children tylenol. After all.... "Acetaminophen causes three times as many cases of liver failure as all other drugs combined, [1] and is the most common cause of acute liver failure in the United States,[2] accounting for 39% of cases" Well.. that's ok I…

so give your kid some tylenol to reduce the minute chance he or she may have a fever. There! I fixed it!

Mrs. Cullen. Do you and your family drive in a car? Let's say your drive is about 650 miles, if this is right -- http://tinyurl.com/2a7vahj If you want the average probability of getting into an accident per mile driven, it's about 2008 accidents per billion miles driven So, over 650 miles, that's 0.13% probability. The…

Anyone? Not to be an *kitten*... but are we all talking about weight loss related stuff? I think this thread is getting really far away from the original intentions and is turning into a heated argument. Nothing side A will say to Side B will change their minds or vice versa.

I'm going to do Day one today! I'd love to do it with you!

REALLY?!?! I'm sorry but when did parents become the children and the children tell parents what to do?!?! You supplement vegetables and fruits with pedia sure?! I'm sure that's purely rational...like that commercial right?? Their not trying to sell you anything. WAKE UP! Your the parent and you tell your kids what to…

<3 our RD. My daughter is a year old and in the 3rd percentile. Our RD and pedi aren't concerned about her weight per se, but that she is staying on HER curve and not loosing weight. She has had her weight graphed at least once a week since the day she was born. That being said, we feed her a well balanced nutritional diet…

Pretty much exactly what the physician said. I was also told to increase my water and caloric intake. He said that 1320 calories for me is far too low. Thanks for all of your input! I feel much better now and won't stress while pushing it. I feel like todays workout was a waste.. but it wasn't. The FT4 said i burned 400ish…
