You're in a weightloss mindset, not a fitness mindset. It's ok. Don't exercise. Stay weak and out of shape.
-
I take back the bit where I said "I wish you luck". You need more than luck.
-
You know about one single meal that I ate, and you're making strong absolute conclusions from it: that I'm not healthy, and that it is a scientific fact that I will need a cardiologist. Science. That's not how it works. I wish you luck. For what it's worth, when I first started down this path, I held some pretty strong…
-
Please. That's insulting. If you ate how I eat and trained how I trained you would be in the best shape of your life. Keep reading. Better yet, get out there and walk the walk.

1. Tofurky 2. Low-fat cheese 3. Low-fat ice cream 4. French Roast Coffee 5. White Zinfandel
-
Are you a wizard, of science?
-
I would start a third topic at this point, and pick your course of action based on the "best two out of three" principle.
-
I don't have a cardiologist. I'm about 40 years out from needing that sort of thing, if ever. I did however have a general checkup and bloodwork done within the last few months. My numbers were stellar, even with the somewhat raised stressed levels of having newborn twins at home, coupled with a long break from training.…

My dinner was COMPLETELY vegan except for the eggs, cheese, and bacon. I also had bourbon before dinner and will have more now. Still healthy. How about you?

active to very active

Do you even.... get up off the couch, bro?
-
Actually made more sense to me for deadlifts. I get some pretty wicked DOMS in my lower back sometimes from deads. For squats, I think you should probably feel it in your quads more. Best thing to do would be to post a form-check video
-
Not me. But you probably will.
-
Depends on what all else you're eating. Nothing inherently wrong with eating rice and soy sauce every day. It's your overall diet that matters.
-
Yes. My solution is to eat some carbs in the morning.
-
-
Things aren't changing so rapidly that you need an update once a month or the latest new exercises.
-
-
Just rinse the chalk off your hands, and leave the lifting belt in the car.
-
Either start tomorrow or start next year. It's up to you.
-
bread and pasta are complex carbs (Not being rude.. see the flower? :flowerforyou: )
-
Can you please stop calling me rude and nasty? You're starting to hurt my feelings. I never told you to eat sugar. I never told you to do anything for that matter. And 2 posts above you yourself are asking for what natural sugar you should take. So I don't know if you're just messing with us or what.
-
Your premise is wrong. Sugar is not "bad for you". It's not causing a headache that a "natural sugar" will cure. If that's rude of me to say, then sorry*. I don't know how else to say it. * not actually sorry
-
When you say you are detoxing from something, that implies that the something is a toxic. Your first sentence begins with "I'm trying to detox from refined sugar".
-
Wait, so sugar is toxic? I've been eating nectarines all morning. Am I poisoned now?
-
Absolutely. This is the difference between "getting it" vs "going through the motions". Sounds like you get it.
-
Is there an actual question here?
-
sytlistchicky you're trying to be pedantic. but failing. *Eyeroll*
