look at them as a badge of honour You worked hard for them and it shows you're making progress. IIRC the skin takes a little longer to shrink so in most cases the worst of them go away in time

Canned sweetcorn and a dash of hot chilli sauce Fresh corriander and chopped red onion(mild) Both work for me

Well done. Swimming big distance is very rewarding and a great way showing how our fitness has improved

Andy from the UK here, 46 below knee amputation right leg needing to lose 80lbs this year. I've lost weight loads of times before and understand how diet and fitness works but I always tried to do it alone and always fell by the wayside. I'm now using MFP as a support network and my head feels in a much better place

I've swam a couple of times recently with a heart rate monitor and found my caloroes burnt are about two thirds of the MFP figures for my weight

I don't have a bad back but have you tried swimming. All your weight is supported so maybe not too much strain on your back. Very little pressure on your joints and you can work as hard or gentle as you like

I think its worth remembering that its tough for him too. As far as he's concerned you are the one who has changed the "rules" snf the basis of your friendship.Socialising with food and drink may have been a major part of your friendship but now that has changed. Explain to him how important it is to you, how unhappy you…
