I did c25k twice, once on the treadmill and once on the street, and didn't run my first 5k until I had finished the second time! My first 5k race I had to stop and walk twice and I was huffing and puffing and thought I was going to die... But I didn't and I finished! I had gone from not being able to run for a bus to…

At the movies? Wolf Of Wall Street (we get everything late out here). At home - Silence Of The Lambs, because I was showing it to a friend who had never seen it.

Wants to lose weight without changing *proportions* is probably more accurate. I started at 240lbs with a hip/waist ratio of 0.71 and I am 168lbs now with EXACTLY THE SAME ratio. In the last year I lost 5 inches off my waist and 7.5 inches off my hips. I'm proportionately the same, but a lot smaller.

Yep, way too much. If it's not working, you need to re-evaluate your diet, not add more exercise. Do you weigh your food? Are you logging consistently and honestly? What are your macronutrient ratios? What's your calorie goal? I agree with the above poster's schedule: Cardio 4-6 times a week Weight training 3-4 times a…

Nope, I'm not likely to choose a trainer whose physique doesn't match up to my training goals. I'm not gonna pick a 260lb powerlifting hulk of a dude to train me if I want to take part in a women's bikini competition, same as I wouldn't hire a sprinter to train me to be a powerlifter. That sprinter could know all there is…

Be proud of your fifteen minutes. When you can do fifteen and still feel okay, do twenty. Then twenty-five. We all start somewhere.

If you suspect PCOS or any medical issue, go to the doctor. I was stuck around 190lbs for a few months so I went to the doctor for metabolism tests etc. It came back clean across the board so I just kept going. You need to be 100 percent honest with everything you eat, log it all, weigh it accurately. If you do not have…

I listen to audiobooks when running, I want to hear the story so I run as long as possible. Also means I can't hear the voice in my head telling me I'm tired etc.

"The Change"? Sounds ominous. Unless you mean menopause, in which case, pretty sure the OP is a dude.

Strong first post. Please give a detailed account of what you did so we can all be shamed into stunned silence. And before and after pics, please!

Well then we're talking a pizza SHAKE. Not sure I could use milk. Maybe if I infused the milk with a little stock to make it savoury, (low sodium, of course, we all know sodium is the debbil) I could whizz it up REAL good.

Because people are supposed to eat food, not drink everything. Especially in "long term"... Without anything solid in your digestive tract, I HATE to think about how going to the bathroom is going to go. The adjective "explosive" comes to mind. You will miss out on the social act of eating, you will not be able to eat with…

OP, other posters have asked, if you're getting the calories and nutrition you require in real food, what are the benefits of a liquid diet? I genuinely don't see the appeal, or how it would be beneficial to you.
-
...I mean, I've blended chicken and veggies before to make a soup... But a whole PIZZA? Can it even be done...? OP, thank you, you have created my new reason for living.
-
I dunno, I could try putting a pizza in a blender, but I don't think that would go well. Most people here like eating food... There's no reason a shake or a juice shouldn't be a PART of a healthy diet, but it doesn't really matter if your nutrients/calories are runny or not, they're still nutrients and calories.

IIFYM.com calculates your BMR as 1672 and your TDEE as 2006 based on an inactive lifestyle. A 15% cut is 1705. Weighing your food is more accurate than measuring cups, if you find it time consuming you can always prep stuff on a sunday into measured baggies (oats/rice/pasta etc) for use during the week.

To even start losing weight I had to accept my body. I used to just ignore it, cover it up with layers of clothes, wear a lot of make-up and do my hair, draw attention away from my body. To commit to changing, I had to look at myself and say "so this is what I have to work with". I work out and fuel my body because I love…

No-one is looking at you. Wear something that is comfortable and allows you to move. Those are the only two factors to take into consideration.
