Intro Post
Hi, I started Si6 a in 2013 and I am looking for more motivated people to chat to about the programme. As of tonight I'm on Day 10 of Ramp It Up and I'm looking forward to moving up to the final level. I seem to be getting results, I feel a lot stronger, but does anyone else find Debbie really annoying? I hate how smiley…

Running NSV (C25K Grad)
10 months ago I couldn't run AT ALL. I would get winded running for a bus. I decided to do C25K on a treadmill at the gym in order to get my cardiac fitness up and burn more fat. I already walked a lot but I wanted to be able to RUN. I completed C25K on the treadmill, then did some DVDs while I was working on my…

Minus 44lbs, halfway to ultimate goal!
First picture is January 2012 (about 220lbs, started at 238lbs) Second picture is October 2012, today! (194.5lbs) About halfway to my ultimate goal of 155lbs, can't wait to get there, but I just wanted to take a moment to be proud of how far I've come. Whoops, had to edit the picture smaller!

Number crunching and my plateau.
I've been stuck at 202-204lb for months now, I was wondering if I could share some numbers and my stats and see if anyone can give me any advice? First of all, my diary is open. Starting weight in September 2011 was 237.5lb. I lost the first 22lb through diet alone at university, using MFP and working in a kitchen 3 times…

30DS Before And After
I took a lot longer then 30 days to finish the 30DS, as I was writing my dissertation and doing exams at papers etc all the way through, as well as taking weekends off for travel. It was my only form of exercise other than walking (I don't drive so I walk everywhere) and I got results! I also ate well the majority of the…

Finally seeing some definition in the arms!
First picture taken 17th of February (about 213lb) Second picture taken 10th of April (204lb) I love my new shoulders and I can't wait to see more of Mr. Bicep and less of Mrs. Bingo Wing! Even if the scale doesn't budge as fast, try and do as much strength as you can... It's worth it when the fat melts away and you can…

30DS Level One Complete
I'm pleased with how much tighter all my core muscles are feeling and my hips and belly are feeling less bulky. The changes aren't terribly obvious, but for ten days, I am over the moon! Rest day tomorrow, then on to level 2. BEFORE: END OF LEVEL ONE: My weight hasn't changed, but I've been weight training and running at…

Time to start taking progress pics!
I first realised I was seriously overweight when I got to university 4 years ago. I was 22 and wearing a UK 22... At my highest I weighed in at about 17 stone. This was me in 2009. Pretty damn embarrassing. (I'm the hugger, not the hugee) Then in my third year of university I moved to Japan to study. My diet improved, I…

Flexibility
So yesterday my gym-buddy showed me how to use some stretching/flexibility equipment (made by TechnoGym) and I had a bit of a go... Thing is, although it gives you numbers on the machine for your degree of flexibility, I can't seem to find a SCALE anywhere to tell me if my results are good or bad! One machine is the…

NSV - Started C25K
I haven't run in any way shape or form since I was 13 years old, and I am determined to start running. I finally bit the bullet today and started day one week one of C25K! I'm using an app on my iPod so I can listen to my own music, and it beeps to tell me when to walk and when to run. I managed to complete day one! I was…

Hi from England!
Hi, my name is Holly and I'm 25 years old. I've been using MFP for a month now, I've managed to lose 14 lb and have recently also started following a vegan diet. I am a student, and am forever looking for cheap, tasty, healthy options! I've been overweight for years now and tried all kinds of crash dieting and extreme…
