  • Is there any information on if this is a larger problem or just mine? I have deleted and reinstalled apps and still nothing. They had this problem last year as well and it took months for it to be fixed. Any resolutions on this?
  • my band syncs with my microsoft health app, but rarely syncs with mfp ... when it does it is only sync partial amounts and then sometimes a day or two later the rest will appear.
  • I'm looking for motivation as well! I have lost 65, gained back 25 and back on may way again. Had been logging consistently for almost a year and then got side tracked. I try to eat relatively healthy, but hey I like to eat out now and gain without feeling like I am going to be shot down for it. Started back to lifting…
  • Add me as well...working on losing about 80 lbs myself...have lost some already but the journey is continuing. I welcome any new friend additions...motivation and support is key!! I am 49, have 2 kids (24 & 19), married 29 years and have 2 beagles and 2 cats. I work full time outside the home plus we own a service business…
  • Feel free to add me as well. I am restarting my journey after a 6 month pity party :( .. ready to tackle this and get it done! I am 49 and would love to have this journey near goal by the time I turn 50 (July). Am just getting started again with both food and exercise so looking for new friends who are in the same boat!…
  • awesome job! I am about the same progress as you - started July 2011 and am down about 60-65 lbs . You are rocking those flowered pants - they are so cute - wish I had the confidence to wear patterned pants! Keep it up and if you want to add me please do. Again great job! Angie
  • My book came in over the weekend and I haven't had a chance to read it yet....so frustrating!! I am hoping to start thumbing thru it and getting the workout logs set up - I believe I have most of the equipment and am anxious to get started! I need to kick this last 65 lbs to the curb!!! Looking forward to getting time to…
  • It can also cause heart damage if taken too long. It gave me the jitters and made me really irritable. as soon as I stopped taking it I gained whatever little I lost plus more. So not worth it!!
  • I was almost there myself...am down to 233 now so it is doable!
  • 235 lbs 5'7" and anywhere from a size 14 to a size 18 -- I have a pair of Maurice's jeans and a pair of Liz Claiborn that are size 14 and I have Lees that are a 16 or 18. I have a pair of J-Lo dress pants that are a size 14 as well. I also have some Lee and Levi size 14 jeans that I can't get up mid-thigh so it really does…
  • I'm 5'7 and am fluctuating between 230-235 lbs. My pants range from a size 14 to a size 20 depending on the brand. Liz Claiborne & Jennifer Lopez are size 14 - and lees range from 16-20 depending on what style. My tops are generally a L (12/14) or XL (16/18) with an occasional size 20, again depending on the cut.
  • From what I have seen you have to enter the strength training under cardio for it to register the estimated calories burned. I also enter what I did under the strength training just so I could log my weights and reps. Angie
  • I am in the same boat. I can always get to 230 - maybe even get to 220, but only for about a week and then I am right back at the 230 area. I just can't seem to break thru this point. I took last week completely off from exercise and obsessing about my food. I ate some cake, some ice cream, went out to eat some...and you…
  • I got the Zephyr and really like it...question is how do you get it to show calories burned with trackers that utilize gps settings when you are doing something that isn't gps tracked -- ie treadmill, boot camp etc. If you select a treadmill workout or a cardio or strength training workout they aren't gps tracked so it…
  • I have always liked weights more than cardio or body weight exercises. I just don't have anyone to go lift with and was to intimidated to go into the gym before. I do have a weight bench at home and a bar and some plates but no one to really spot me. I have been doing a boot camp for about 2 years but am ready to switch up…
  • anyone can add me as well... open diary and as most everyone else said...it's all about accountability Angie
  • bump Does anybody know of an android app that will work with bluetooth HRM and record time and calories burnt?
  • If I am on the treadmill or the bike I will take my tablet and watch a movie on netflix. I only get to watch it when i am doing my cardio :). When I am outside I play fitradio on my phone....tons of stations to choose from
  • yeah, that diet wouldn't work for me....can't stand pickles.....I can eat about 1 slice of a bread and butter and that is it....I will pick the pickles off of any sandwiches and give them to my kids or the dogs..............yuck!!!
  • the only problem with the BodyMedia is you have a big old armband around your upper arm - you can't hide it in your cleavage like the Fitbit. I don't mind the bodymedia during the winter but get self conscious during the warmer months when I wear it all day with short sleeve shirts and people are constantly asking.... Just…
  • didn't know there was a smart phone app - will have to look into that - getting excited to see what I can really accomplish. If I tell my son I need a spotter it will get him down there as well and he won't want his mama to show him up :)
  • Her account is deactivated.
  • Eastern Iowa - right on the mighty Mississippi River Angie
  • I love the Natural Creamy Jif PB ... and now they have a Natural Honey Jiff PB...haven't tried it yet. I can eat it just by itself on a spoon :) Angie
  • Did you ever get the Zephyr or find out anything more on it? Was just curious as I was looking at getting one as well. Angie
  • and that is where Victoria's Secret push up bras come in :) ..
  • Congratulations! I can relate on oh so many levels. Didn't have big mirrors - could just see shoulders up and avoided mirrors anywhere else at all costs. Not comfortable in my own skin - not naked in the light (and I have been married 28 years) and so on and so on.... I am trying to eat the way you do. I can avoid the…
  • I do a protein shake each morning for 1st meal for my 2nd meal/snack I will either do oatmeal with some protein powder and almond milk and peanut butter (It takes me all of a minute to throw a handful of oatmeal and some almond milk in a bowl & throw in the fridge - I then just micro it and add in the protein powder and…
  • I have done the same thing over and over. Want to lose X amount in X time frame - lose a couple of pounds and then get distracted, quit and gain it all back plus more. Although you may not hit 50 lbs in 4 months, you can certainly make some long strides towards that goal. Clean up the diet, hit some cardio and do some…
  • I started with about 130 lbs to lose. I am down 65. Has it taken me awhile? Yes! Did I stall out, fall of the wagon, lose my way? Yes! Did I pick up the pieces and start the day over again? Yes! You will have days that you stumble - just pick it up at the next meal and continue on from there. Don't beat yourself up over…
