Is that not motivation enough? Do you want to die young from a heart attack or something so you're not there for your kids? Unlikely, so get up go outside and move your butt!!
-
yeah I hear ya.. I really don't feel I am inconsiderate but trying to make someone accountable and telling them their pizza was a dumb choice often seems to be seen as "a slap to the face" or a personal attack to people around here. I didn't come here to be anyones best friend I want someone to ride my hide and I'm going…

I can't see your pictures but great job! Hiking up a mountain is no easy task.
-
I understand where your coming from but for other people they need a swift kick in the butt when they slip up. It was also a metephor, sugar coated.. i.e. covered in sugar.
-
damn dude! That's impressive for 3 months!

I'm not that nice. I'm somewhat of a jerk. People need to face the truth, sugar coating it is what got them here in the first place.

If you can get enough protein from food then skip the shake, if you have trouble getting enough protein then go for it. I have no idea what the content of it is but I would probably go for real food pre-workout and shake after workout.

after you cook it throw it in a frying pan with bean sprouts, red peppers, and onions. Put an egg in a bowl and whisk it and then dump it into the pan and continue cooking while tossing frequently until the egg is fully cooked. Put it on your plate and top it with 2 tablespoons of Maggi chili sauce.

lower your carbs and increase your protein. Workout a little less and give yourself more rest, maybe a 4 on 3 off split or something like that. Try to get more natural foods, I didn't look too closely at your diary but even something as simple as swapping that potato for a sweet potato will help.. small changes can lead to…

Give yourself no choice. When you give yourself the choice to eat bad then you will at some point. Make it so it just isn't an option, you get no say in it.

water...

I can call you out on your bad choices..

slow and steady wins the race..

If you need more vegetables, get a blender and make a morning vegetable/fruit shake. it'll make getting them a little less painful.
-
make 2 portions of dinner and bring 1 for lunch the next day.. cold cuts/bread/sandwiches will kill your sodium in a hurry.
-
I think someone else already said it but look at the online menu before you leave and decide what you are having while looking at your dairy and seeing what you can fit. Figure it out a day or 2 early if you think it will help you from picking something terrible. Once you decide stick with it!! write it on your forehead…

if you want pizza then go ahead, if you want to get in shape throw your phone out the window.

I used to drink probably a full pot a day but down to 0 now.. More energy than when drinking coffee, but that might have something to do with the eating better too.

I don't like fruit and vegetables too much but I do like fruity drinks. So, realizing that I need all the good stuff that comes with them and my stubbornness to just eat them I went and bought a blender and started making smoothies for breakfast. I haven't tried a lot of recipes yet but I seem to like this one, very tangy…

Good commercial. seems to me many unfit people like to complain when there is nothing but perfectly shaped people in ad's for fitness products or underwear or whatever. Nike is giving people what they want, someone that doesn't fit the mould out there still giving it all he's got. They're saying "we know you're not an…

I've borrowed my girlfriends a few times now and maybe I just don't know all the features but I don't believe you can see your time during your run/workout. When I've used it all I could see is BPM until I am done. Someone else who has played around with more of the features may be able to say differently.

Just found tomorrow's diner.

Build your diet of many different foods and don't deprive yourself of the things you want and then you never have to cheat. If I want chocolate I have it I just make sure it will fit within my daily goals and watch my portion sizes. If I want some chips I'll grab a small bag and build the rest of my day around it. Better…

Agreed. I try and get as many of my nutrients as I can from unprocessed foods. It's not a diet so much as learning how to eat healthy and properly while keeping a reasonable diversity in foods. It's a never ending learning process. Apparently the whole slim fast thing works to lose weight but once you go back to eating…

Allmax Allwhey in chocolate is pretty good and the ON chocolate is also pretty good. Everyone raves about the ON but I think I might give the edge to Allmax as far as taste goes. Edit: also I don't know what stores are available in the UK but I buy from supplementscanada.com over here. Maybe there is a similar local online…

Quite often I'll have 4 eggs for breakfast, I really don't worry about the cholesterol but I do have 2 whole eggs and then 2 egg whites to reduce the fat a bit.. Can't really comment on if it's really that much better just to have the whites but I'd say if you have a healthy balanced diet not to sweat it too much.

Thank you very much everyone.. I will continue at about 3000 cals for a few weeks and see what happens.. Maybe I need to go higher but I'll adjust again in a few weeks if I think I need to.

Ok so I just went to the www.fat2fitradio.com website again and it has my BMR as Harris-Benedict-2143 and Katch-McArdle-1931. I would put myself being somewhere between Very Active-3298 and Extremely Active-3633 since I workout 5 days a week and don't sit at work. So Are those numbers my TDEE or does that already include a…
