Whole30 has been a lifesaver for me. I eat better, I sleep better, I have made better life choices as a result and I have lost 18 pounds. I highly recommend it for a life journey reset.

I need support! This is my 2nd round, started Feb 15th, struggling with pre-planning. Seems I eat a lot of eggs.

I began a round of Whole30 (8/17/19) and just for my info counted my calories (like I have forever). A few days at first I did not log over 1000 calories in a day and let me tell you I felt it! My leg ached, no energy and a bit dizzy at times. Lesson Learned! Planning is the key :)

My husband and I follow 16:8 and it really works for us. The biggest for him is the night time munching. For me, it's the calorie deficit. Our energy levels are way up and we sleep so much better. Our weight loss has been a steady 1 pound per week.

God gives us strength, why is that so hard for some to understand....

Great thread peoples... I will add this, the plateau thing....that gets tricky for me sometimes. I lost a lot in the beginning and then slowed wwaayy down. Once I added a different type of exercise in it all picked up again...and kept the monotony at bay.

1. I don't eat back my exercise calories (But...it always helps to have a buffer if you go over your goals) 2. Until you learn portions, weigh everything, it's a huge eye opener. 3. If you can, find a committed buddy. What a life saver on those gloomy days!

Thursday - passed on lunch out. Friday - passed on 'Donut Friday' at work. Saturday- Mexican dinner out...not one chip for this gal, spinach and steak salad with balsamic vinegar. Sunday - My Sunday for donuts at Church....yep! Passed those too! Finally feeling some control :)

My advise for that...Don't Buy It! Just get rid of the temptation all together. That said, I am not one to throw out food but as it's left the house I have not replaced it and don't intend to. Don't beat yourself up, we are all a work in progress from the inside out :)

Most people (including myself) don't like to think they are over-eating. If a person has to portion and weigh food.....It's an eye-opener!

Great work, you look so much younger! Good for you!

I have stressed a groin muscle and went to this sight, it has a lot of great stretching advise, thank you. I sure hope to be running again soon.

I have yet to figure out how to replace my weight ticker with a running ticker, step by step would be helpfull.

Hi all, I'm Mindy, I have walked for years and trying to get up to the running speed. Right now I'm at a 12 minute mile that some people can beat just walking but hey...I'm off the couch and trying. I don't really have much of a long term goal except to be healthy and have an outlet. I have set my goal at 80 miles for the…
