Awesome tips! Your Age / Height / Weight (SW & CW) are almost exactly the same as mine, including SW & GW. Thanks again!

I've never really cared to have big boobs. At my pre-children weight I was 36C. At my heaviest I was a 36G. I've lost 26 lbs and I'm down to 36F. Sadly, I'll never be able to go bra-less, but I'll be happy if I can buy my bras at Walmart or a similar store rather than paying $50+ at a specialty shop.

Thank you!

So, I've returned from my ~ 2 week hiatus. I've been slacking, and I can tell in the way I feel and OMG my face has broken out something terrible. I think it's a combination of bad food choices and not drinking my water. Anyhoo, back to eating right and got my first workout in today! It was JM Yoga Meltdown, so not earth…

Let me begin by saying that you're a beautiful woman - before the weight loss and after! There's a huge difference in your shape. I love your silly face pic! Dedication like you've shown is AWESOME! That's my goal - to stay DEDICATED! When I get to 36 lbs lost, however long it may take, I will be dancing a jig!…

I've been sticking to at least 3 days per week of weight lifting. They number of rest days between vary. We lifted yesterday and will lift tomorrow. Work called and asked me to come in tonight because they had someone call in and due to a scheduling error no one was scheduled as "on call". So, I tried to sneak in an hour…

Vinegar, honey, and Mrs. Dash works for me. Might add some cayenne pepper if I'm feeling it. Also vinegar, plain yellow mustard, and honey. I likes my vinegar and honey!

This is totally what I pictured! Up in a half pulled through pony bun, personally.

Someone else noticing without you mentioning your weight loss journey is THE BEST! Sometimes that is the fun part! I tell my husband I'm "such a guy" because I stand in front of the mirror posing with my muscles (what little I have) flexed!

You are very welcome! I love hearing everyone else's and sharing mine as well. http://www.myyogaonline.com/about-yoga/yoga-anatomy/why-are-yoga-pushups-chaturanga-so-difficult This is what I found on why the elbows go out. I had the same problem. I'm hoping this means that strength training with weights is helping…

Did an impromptu ~ 2.25 mi run/walk pushing my 30 lbs & 40 lbs kiddos in the jogging stroller while the older two rode their bicycles. It was nice to get out in the sunshine and breathe in the fresh air. I feel accomplished! :drinker:

Great to see another doing the program with their hubby! I agree with the mixed grip for deadlift. I plan on investing in some big washers or fractional weights soon because I know I will begin to stall on OHP. This is only week 2 for us.

Sounds like everyone is doing good! We did SL5x5 Tues instead of Mon and we'll just do T/Th/Sat this week. As long as I get three days in we're good (I say we to include the hubby). I did JM YM on Sat, so technically, I only missed one workout for the week - just switched up the days. I'm going to try to do JM YM again…

I don't know if there's any truth to it, but when I was researching foam rollers, I came across claims that using one helps diminish the appearance of cellulite. I purchased a foam roller for my muscles, so if it reduces cellulite in the process it's just an added bonus.

*BUMP*

I am SO HAPPY and excited to say that my hubby completed another SL5x5 workout with me today! He has even been eating better and had me pick him up some supplements. Oh, and he also asked me to help him figure out his BMR/TDEE and logging on here. *happy dance*

Yeah, no way on the crow pose for me either...

Thank you for all of the responses!

I have no problem getting rough little missy! *puts on best drill seargent face* I'm feeling pretty good about my plan. My main goal is to stick to the three days of lifting per week. The other days are variable. I want to stick with the lifting for 12 weeks, which is what it calls for to see the best…

I got my second day of SL5x5 (workout B) done with the hubby! Let me just say that i was not the only one wincing at every stair I had to step up. We were on the road for five hours yesterday and five hours today (with three kiddos in tow) to attend an out of town funeral, so I'm proud of him for doing it with me tonight…
-
I've been out of town to attend a funeral, so I'm just getting to check this. I've decided to do calorie cycling and eat at BMR on my off days from lifting and at TDEE on my lifting days. We'll see how it goes! Testing... 1... 2... 3...

So, I did my first day of StrongLifts 5x5... It was pretty much what i expected, except for the squats. That 45 lbs barbell really gave my quads a workout! Ouch!

So, we went for our walk! We went at Mimi's (chihuahua) pace the first mile. This included stopping to sniff and mark. On the way back, Mimi rode in the jogging stroller with the kiddos and I got a little fast paced walking and jogging in. It felt good to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

You gave me the motivation to do a little something today! We just started fostering a dog (hopefully we'll adopt her - owner got arrested and has to release ownership) and taking her and the kids for a nice walk around the block sounds like a great low intensity burn. Mimi (the dog) is going to be so excited!

Does chasing/toting a toddler around Chuck E. Cheese count as a workout? Well, it was a rest day for me so I'm counting it! This girl worked a graveyard shift last night after being up all day yesterday and then took about a five hour nap before getting up so hubby could go work an extra job. I'm soooo ready to go…
-
Well, there you guys go making me feel obligated to make a plan (in a GOOD way)! Guess I will go ahead and make one too. Thanks guys!
-
Great job! Way to know your limitations without letting them consume you. Very handsome!
-
I finally completed my last day of RI30 today. I'm taking this weekend off and then starting StrongLifts 5x5 on Monday.
-
Wonderful job! You look great. I plan on starting SL5x5 this month and I'm hoping to get the hubby to start too!
