That makes sense. The heavier you are, the more cals you tend to burn.
-
It's not "very little" for 45 mins, really....it all depends on the type of exercise, level of exertion and the body type and metabolism for each individual. Eg: You can do easy cycling (which is still cardio) for 45 minutes and burn around 200 cals only. Or you can do vigorous cycling for 20 mins and burn 200 cals.

I am finding this article very intersting too (re: Marilyn's figure): http://jezebel.com/5299793/for-the-last-time-what-size-was-marilyn-monroe

:noway: I didnt realise her waist was so tiny.... Just under the width of one of my thighs, then.

Even if it was elfin-like, like Mrs Beckham's face, or even thinner (then again, why would anyone want that?) I personally think it is an unflattering hairstyle anyway. Your hair looks hot as it is, maybe go for a drastic colour change and change the style instead of a drastic cut?

Sautee chopped bell pepper + onions & celery and lots of crushed garlic till softened. Add lean ground beef to pan till browned. Add a tin of baked beans + tinned tomatoes & season to your taste. Simmer for as long or little as you like (+ serve with brown rice/wholemeal pasta/cauliflower rice/pita bread etc + salad)…

I eat instant porridge (which does contain sugar and freeze dries strawberries) & I add tonnes of fresh blueberries, strawberries and raspberries to it once it's cooked. The calories come to about 300 in total (including the milk) and I like to think it is fairly balanced, it isn't hindering my progress, so I don't regard…

so many great ideas

Honestly, in small servings, wine is fine - try to cut back to 1 glass a night instead of 2 and sip it reeeeally slowly....
-
:noway: How big a glass are you talking?! That is a myth if you are talking about a normal (187.5ml-ish) average glass of red wine....having that once a day is absolutely fine, providing you have enough cals left over for it. It's actually good for you as an antioxidant. A Big Mac has 490 cals. A small glass of red wine…

 LIDL do really nice thick ones, they are rather like very thin pork medallions with a bacony taste...nice and smoky and perfect in a BELT (bacon egg lettuce tomato sanger). I adore them and they're pretty much guilt free.

I would probably have to agree with you about that being photoshopped  GOD I WOULD LOVE A BODY LIKE THAT!

The class I go to only use noodles and the rest is resistance against the water current which we all create by moving in one direction in the pool and quickly changing direction...High repetitions are really effective too - good luck - make sure you choose fun music, that always helps :)

I feel lost without my Lloyds one (which I applaud you for ordering, it is well worth the very fair price) which I have been using for a couple of months now. I absolutely  it .

yep me too, and decent techno and garage - got to have a good beat to it. without music, my workout is cr@ppy!

Buy a portable gas camping stove, they are essential! Then you can do lots of omlettes (seeing as eggs are filling and easy and quick) pasta salads, tinned tuna, baked beans and as there'll be no fridge, tinned vegetables like peas and carrots as well as fresh fruit that might last longer than others. Cheese will keep well…

:drinker: WOW. Just WOW - well done - shows what anyone can acheive when you put your mind to it.
-
I think I jumped the gun - £31 (incl p&p) for 24 packs comes to about £1.30 a serving which isn't too bad if it is filling....worth a try anyhow and if it tastes really bland or nasty, I shall douse it in garlic and some kind of sauce!

> Egg whites & Chicken breast for protein > Apples & Fine green beans for fruit/veg > Philadelphia Light cream cheese for dairy

Why does my chest strap HRM sound like a quiet cricket?! I can always hear it whilst doing yoga or in a quiet place (like the office) - anyone else noticed this with theirs? Still loving it by the way!
-
The one I usually get is: "LUCKY SADDLE!!" I cycle to work, gym & home and I always laugh out loud when I hear it. It may be a very unsubtle compliment but these guys are clearly bored and just entertaining themselves

I'm definitely giving this a try - thanks. A similar recipe using oranges instead of limes, is something I adore.

HERE'S MY REVIEW: I've been using mine for a while now (about a month and a half) and it's great. Luckily I have had no allergies to the rubber (yet!). Example: MFP estimated my cals burned yesterday at around 700 but my HRM counted 950 by the end of the day (includes my cycle to and from work/gym + yoga + circuit training…

What a considerate thing to hear a man say

Perhaps try to eat lots of eggs as they fill you up and the protein is good, especially as you're really into your fitness! I would reccomend lots of frozen chicken breasts (Iceland do them and they don;t add too much salt either) as they are cheaper and if there's a lidl nearby, they do really cheap and very lean and…

We all know how terrible it is for you & yes they produced such misleading adverts pretty much claiming "it is good for you" www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpNLUFA34iw and consequently: http://www.which.co.uk/news/2008/02/asa-backs-which-over-nutella-advert-133139/ But OH THE TASTE! Personally for me, sometimes it is worth saving…
