I really like these two channels: 1) Better Ideas. He talks a lot about mind hacks, mental health, and his ideas are really evidence based and no nonsense; 2) Hybrid Calisthenics. He is so inspiring, fitness oriented but talks about lifestyle too.

I want to get to a 30 days / 1 month streak on MFP. I forgot how much consistency helped, and I really feel like this is keeping me on track!
-
I just re-started after reaching a high again  I got 30lbs to lose as well! Looking for active friends!
-
I am restarting and looking for more active friends! :-)
-
Me ! Looking for some active friends on here. I just re-started with 30lbs to lose.

None of the articles you linked to actually answered the question, "what toxins does ACV remove from the body that live and kidneys don't"...that's because this is nonsense.
-
That looks so tasty! I saved it to my bookmarks

Same here!

If you are not consistent in your logging and weighing and properly counting everything, then you have no idea what your deficit is or if you are even in one. Start logging consistently and with a deficit and you will lose.

what they said ^^^

Oats are processed food, FYI.

lmao

Fat has not been unambiguously proven to be more satiating than carbs+protein.

citations for this "science" please?

yup

So why do so many people in developing countries (especially children) die of dysentery or parasitic infections from lack of clean water? Do you think all of that is just made up? smh at the ignorance...
-
I have lost over 50lbs drinking plenty of caramel coloured stuff. Starvation mode is not real in the context you are talking about. No amount of skipping meals will cause your weight loss to slow or stop. Calorie counting is the only thing that matters.
-
wtf????
-
That's absolutely and completely false pseudoscience.
-
None of what your nutritionist told you is true. The body doesn't "stagnate" in fat loss...
-
lol
-
This is false. Your body cannot "hold onto calories" if it is in a deficit. Otherwise no one would die during a famine.

I have this same problem. It's so hard! I just keep logging and try to eat a bit below maintenance instead of heavily restricting.
-
Nice loss! Well done!
-
When I started I think I was around 36, 34, 38 at 5'4. Now I am 32, 25, 34.
-
I have cheat meals, not cheat days.
-
If this person wasn't eating enough calories for their TDEE, they would be losing weight.
-
ho ho ho!
-
Presumably, when their diet is complete, they will move to maintenance and thus have more calories to play around with. This means they can make different choices which suit them when they are maintaining weight. However I see nothing wrong with aiming for lower calories when you are restricting. It's what I do and how…

Firstly, you need to start weighing your food- it's not possible to calculate an accurate enough deficit, generally, unless you do this. Secondly, if it's only been a month, you need to keep going a little bit longer. For me (and for many women) it can take 6-8 weeks before you initially start to drop weight.
